How to get there SkyPoint is situated on level 77 of the iconic Building, Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. It is just a short 6 minute walk from central Surfers Paradise.

Check-in requirements Please ensure you arrive at the SkyPoint 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow enough time to check in. Regrettably, failure to arrive before this time will most likely be classified as no-show and result in forfeiting the booking and it cannot be refunded or transferred.

If you are not familiar with the area or travelling on a weekend or local public holidays / school holidays, please make sure you've checked your timetable or driving route beforehand, and allow extra travelling time for unexpected delays to ensure you do not miss your check in What to bring/wear ● Climbers must wear fully enclosed rubber-soled shoes such as running or hiking shoes. Sandals, ballet flats, thongs, and open-toed shoes are not suitable and cannot be worn.

● Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the prevailing weather conditions on the date of your Climb. All Climbers will be provided with and must wear a Climb Suit that is worn over your own clothing.

● Guests with sun-glasses and prescription glasses will be provided with an attachment to secure them.

● No loose items, including jewellery such as rings, necklaces, piercing jewellery, and watches are allowed on the climb, and whilst lockers are supplied, SkyPoint cannot take responsibility for the security of valuables and advises you not to bring valuables with you. Other info 【SkyPoint Climb】 ● Who is unable to Climb? Unfortunately, this adventure is not for everyone. You are unable to participate in the Climb if you: - Are under the age of 12 years - Under 130 centimetres in height - Weigh in excess of 136 kilograms fully clothed - Greater than 20 weeks Pregnant - Suffer from Broken Bones or severely Impaired Limbs - Have recently undergone Surgery or have been under the effect of Sedatives or General Anesthesia within the last 48 hours - A limb, joint or back injury or broken bone that currently affects fitness, strength or ability to climb independently - Suffer from Vertigo, Dizziness or Balance problems - Suffer from a Heart or Cardiovascular condition that has been diagnosed within the last 6 weeks or for which the customer is not following a medical practitioner's Medical Condition Management Plan - Suffer from Chest Pain or Shortness of Breath - Suffer from Epilepsy and are within 6 months from having been diagnosed - Have suffered a Fit, Seizure or Fainting Episode in the past 6 months - Have suffered from Syncope or Blackouts in the last 12 months - Suffer from Acrophobia (true fear of heights) - Register a blood-alcohol reading of 0.05% or higher during the compulsory breath test - Are considered by SkyPoint staff to be under the influence of substances or drugs (whether prescription or not)

● Limiting Health Conditions. There are certain health conditions that may impact your ability to complete the SkyPoint Climb. Some of these include: - Limb, joint or back injuries - Heart, cardiovascular or respiratory conditions - Visual impairment - Epilepsy - Greater than 20 weeks pregnant (under 20 weeks pregnant requires a 【Medical Clearance Certificate】) - Kidney or renal conditions

If any of these conditions apply to you, please seek advice from your medical practitioner, who will be Page 2 of 5 required to complete the 【Medical Clearance Certificate】 located on the first page of this document.

● Climbers must sign a Climber Declaration and undertake a breathalyser test. If a Climber records a blood alcohol reading of 0.05% or higher, they cannot participate in the Climb and cannot reschedule.

● Height All Climbers are required to meet a minimum height requirement of 130cms.

● Weight Limit The safety system specifications require that all Climbers meet the 136 kilogram fully clothed maximum weight requirement.

● Child Policy Children aged between 12 and 15 years inclusive must be accompanied by a responsible full paying adult (maximum 2 children per responsible adult). Children under 12 years are not permitted to climb.

● Health You will not be able to participate in the Climb if your health, physical or psychological condition or any other personal factor may endanger or risk your health and safety, or that of other Climbers or SkyPoint staff or affect your ability to complete the Climb unassisted.

● Medicated conditions Climbers who suffer from a life-threatening or debilitating allergy are required to bring their health action plan signed by the treating doctor as well as an EpiPen for our Climb Leader to take on the climb. Climbers will be unable to climb unless both of these are provided.

Those with diabetes must register a BSL between 6 and 15 mmol/dl within 15 minutes of Climbing, must not have had a dose of insulin within 2 hours of the climb start time, and supply their Climb Leader with a suitable Glucose Supplement in the event it's required during the climb.

Your health and safety is the number one priority! SkyPoint can decline participation if your health and safety pose a risk to yourself or others on the day of your Climb.

● Fitness A moderate level of fitness and strength, as well as full body control and hand-eye-foot coordination is required to participate in the Climb. All participants must be able to climb independently (unsupported by walking aids) and will be required to complete on the day of your Climb, a SkyPoint Climb Declaration Form.

● During the Climb - Ascending approximately 140 steps at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the summit of the Climb. You will then descend approximately 140 steps to complete the journey - The steepest part of your experience includes climbing up and reversing backwards down a step ladder at an angle of approximately 65 degrees. - During your time on the Climb, you will not have access to seating, water, shade or toilet facilities - Possible exposure to adverse weather and elevation conditions

● Weather Conditions SkyPoint Climb operates in all weather conditions, with the exception of electrical storms, hail storms or excessively strong wind conditions (in which cases the Climber will be rescheduled). Climbers must still arrive 20 minutes prior to their scheduled Climb time regardless of weather conditions. SkyPoint Climb will decide in its absolute discretion whether a Climb is proceeding or not. In the event of wet weather, Climbers will be supplied with weather resistant jackets and pants.

● If there is a deck closure on the day of your climb, the climb will still go ahead. SkyPoint reserves the right to close the Observation Deck at any time. This may hinder your entry into the Observation Deck after your Climb. You are able to use your complimentary Observation Deck entry either before the Deck Closure, the day before your climb or the day after your climb.

SkyPoint Climb takes you to a height of 270 metres above sea level and provides climbers with unparalleled views of the stunning Gold Coast region. Imagine you're standing on a platform 270 meters above sea level, fully immersed in the stunning views of golden sands, lush, tropical mountains and the Gold Coast's city scape at your feet. SkyPoint Climb is Australia's highest external building climb. The entire Climb experience lasts 90 minutes from beginning to end. SkyPoint has one of Australia's fastest elevators taking you from ground to Level 77 (SkyPoint Observation Deck) in 42.7 seconds, where you will begin the Climb. Once outside, close to 298 stairs will guide climbers up to the summit. The Q1 Spire located at the summit is one of the world's longest at 97.7m. It commences at level 75, is made up of 12 sections and weighs 87.2 tonnes. The Q1 Building itself, is taller than the in , and is structurally the 25th tallest building in the world at 322.5 metres high! SkyPoint is Australia's only beachside Observation Deck and a great place to relax after completing the Climb. Friends and family can watch their loved ones on SkyPoint Climb through the glass roof panel.

The Experience

The adventure begins with a safety briefing at SkyPoint Climb Mission Control (ground floor) before you are fitted with a specially designed Climb Suit and full body harness. You'll then make your way to the launch platform on level 77 via SkyPoint''s high speed elevator (one of Australia's fastest) where you'll enter a fully enclosed glass airlock, your gateway to outside the building. A short step ladder will position you 240 meters above street level and from here you will climb to the summit! The summit of the Climb is approximately 30 metres from here and up a stairway. Harnessed to a purpose-built safety rail system, you'll be guided up the walkway and enjoy unparalleled views of the Gold Coast as the expert Climb Leader points out the city's geographical, historical and cultural landmarks. Enjoy the security of an internal hand rail that guides you up to the massive spire, or if you are a little daring, you can walk along the edge of the stairs, experiencing the thrill of a 270 metre sheer vertical drop. Once you reach the summit, Climbers will continue to soak in the 360 degree views and have their photo taken both as a group and as individuals. Here is a great opportunity to speak with your Climb Leader about the region before you descend back down to the SkyPoint Observation Deck.
