MOLLY NAYLOR Writer

Molly is a very talented young writer, director, poet and performer. She co-created and co-wrote the sitcom AFTER HOURS which was broadcast on and starred Jaime Winstone and Ardal O’Hanlon and was directed by Craig Cash. She now has a feature film in development with Jeva Films. She is the co-director of the sell-out storytelling show and story-sharing project TRUE STORIES LIVE. Alongside her creative practice she has extensive experience teaching scriptwriting, storytelling and poetry in a range of contexts; from workshops and masterclasses at schools and universities to long-term creative outreach projects and teacher training sessions. In 2014 Molly was nominated for the Nick Darke Award which celebrates the best writing for screen, stage and radio. As a performer Molly is best known for her acclaimed one-person show WHENEVER I GET BLOWN UP I THINK OF YOU. Her second sell-out Edinburgh Fringe solo show, MY ROBOT HEART, received rave reviews and she has had a number of her poems published, including in her own collection YOU CLOWN, and featured in publications including The Independent and Rialto.
