Q) What is your favorite thing about Rolling Hills? A) The kids. :)

Q) What would be the thing you would tell young kids about achieving goals and persevering? A) Don’t procrastinate. Have realistic goals.

Q) What do you think of the student and teachers here? A) This is the most involved staff I have ever worked with and I think they truly care. All of the students want to be here and want to learn.

Q) How do you like working in the office? A) I love it! Never a dull moment. Something new every day.

Q) How do you plan on being the change this year? A) All staff went and showed thanks to local neighbors. Giving thanks every where we go.

Q) If you could change one thing about Rolling Hills, what would it be and why? A) Wish that the communication from the parents to the school was a little better as far as attendance goes.

Q) What are your thoughts on technology? A) I have mixed feelings about people bringing devices to school. It is hard to moni- tor them all. Theft and lost issue also.

Oakland A’s: The A’s are 5-3, placing 2 nd in the Cactus League. Ces- pedes drove in 2 runs against the Angels in a key game to place the A’s in 2 nd place. During the off-season the A’s traded Grant Balfour to the Tampa Bay Rays. Last year, the leading average for the team was .301 by Josh Donaldson, the leader was Brandon Moss with 30, and the RBI leader was Josh Donaldson with 93.

San Francisco Giants: The Giants are 5-3, placing them in 1 st place in the NL West. The Giants brought Barry Bonds to be an instructor. In 2013, Marco Scutaro led the Giants in batting average at .297. Hunter led the team in home runs and RBI’s. His number of home runs was 27 and 99 RBI’s.

Ingredients

• 4 pink jelly beans • 1 drop of red food coloring • Brown decorating gel or any color of choice • 24 pieces of black licorice • 12 miniature M&M’s baking bits 1 tube of cinnamon roll dough refrigerated

Directions Separate dough into eight rolls. Place four rolls on a greased baking sheet. Using a 2-in. biscuit cutter, cut 3/4 in. into both sides of remaining rolls to form ears and bow ties. Place ears at the top and a bow tie below each cinnamon roll; pinch to attach. Slightly flatten rolls. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside 1-1/2 teaspoons icing. Spread remaining icing over bunnies. Place a baking bit in the center of each bow tie; add remaining baking bits for eyes. Place a jelly bean in each center for nose; attach licorice pieces for whiskers.

Tint reserved icing pink with red food coloring; pipe mouths and outline ears. Pipe edges of bow ties with decorating gel. Yield: 4 servings.
