He will assume his new role on July 1. Huebner, who served as presi- dent at EMCC from July 2015 until Huebner May 8, when he resigned. On May 29, Huebner interviewed for the MCC job, the last of five candidates to interview for the position. Among the other candidates for the MCC presi- dent job was EMCC Vice President Paul Miller. The EMCC Board of Trustees are currently conducting a search for a new president after hir- ing Rick Young as interim president. Young had served 11 years as the EMCC president before retiring in 2015. Huebner came to EMCC Shelton State Community College in Alabama.
