Saturday July 2. 1949 9:00 A M Drawings for the TWENTIETH PLAYING OF THE SOUTHWESTERN OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT in the Student Lounge of the Recreation Hall. Play will begin Saturday morning at 10:00 A M and continue through Monday evening July 4.

F Romeo Pierson and J R Farris heading a large committee of loyal Purple and

Gold alumni are working hard to complete plans for this event. The date and

exact nature of the entertainment will be announced within the next few days.

SOUTHWESTERN OPEN TENUIS TOURNAMENT. The Twentieth Playing of the Southwestern

Open Tennis Tournament will bring to the campus outstanding tennis players from

Texas towns and cities, and from several states. Plan now to participate or

cheer your favorite champion on to victory.
