Chairman John deGraft-Johnson served previously on the Council as Treasurer. He is a businessman and has lived in the village for eleven years. He has been Chairman of the Village Hall Committee for a number of years and has been active in fundraising for various village events. Vice Chairman. Highways Officer Kim Tatman is a retired IT project manager who has lived in for thirteen years. He chairs the Bramling Charity Fund which has raised over £40,000 for the Pilgrims Hospices. He will continue to fight for greater road safety and a reduction in traffic speed and volumes, as well as pressing Highways to keep local roads in good repair.. Finance Officer Stephen Hipkin is new to the Parish Council. He is an economic and social historian of early modern Kent (currently working on land ownership and occupation in this area during the eighteenth century) and has lived in Ickham for the past eleven years. Little Stour & NG Representative Geraldine Wyant is a retired farmer and has been a Parish Councillor for fourteen years. She is also our Churchwarden. She hopes to continue as a link with the farming community in our Parish and maintain a tie with the church. Geraldine will take an active role in keeping our rivers and streams in good repair. KALC Representative Patricia Hodges is about to retire from her commitments as a lecturer at the . This is Patricia’s first time as a Councillor and she will now have more time to contribute to the communal life of the Parish. She will be our representative at the Kent Association of Local Councillors. Having lived in the Parish for 27years, she is looking forward to working on behalf of all parishioners. Village Hall Management Committee Representative Lynn Shouls is joining the Parish Council for the first time. She will also sit on the Village Hall committee. Lynn is a City lawyer, and has lived in Ickham for five years. She supports a number of environmental and conservation charities, and is particularly keen to help the Parish to maintain safe, clean, and attractive villages and countryside. Footpaths Warden. First Aider Kate Richards is a mum of two boys and has lived in Ickham for 9 years. She has been a parish councillor for the last 20 months and having been brought up in a village community herself firmly believes in the virtues of village life. She would like all those who come to Ickham to see it as the way she sees it, a clean, pretty, pleasant place to be. Parish Clerk Pat Heath Pat Heath has worked both in software development and as a process consultant in local government until her retirement. She moved to Ickham four years ago and has immersed herself in the local community. On weekdays, she volunteers at CE School.
