Most importantly, this pro- gram is designed to ensure that both you and your student enter September feeling familiar and con- fident at the university. Summer Orientation offers faculty spotlight sessions as well as regular open sessions (see specific dates). Each session consists of informative presentations, small-group activities, academic advising and support with class registration, as well as a campus tour and complimentary lunch in the residence Dining Hall. Throughout the day, there are also many opportunities for both parents and students to ask the Summer Orientation Leaders their questions about Carleton.
