MONSON – The first meeting of the Fall 2 season between the Holyoke and Monson girls varsity basket- ball teams was a very close affair from start to finish. Trailing by one point with less than two minutes remaining in regulation, the Purple Knights scored the final seven points and cele- brated a 53-47 win over the Lady Mustangs at Michael J.
