1 INTRODUCTION
Saprininae FRQWDLQJHQHUDDQGVSHFLHVZRUOGZLGH 0D]XU 2IWKHVH RQO\JHQHUDVSHFLHVDQGVXEVSHFLHVKDYHEHHQSUHYLRXVO\UHFRUGHGIURP,QGRQHVLD DQGQRUHYLVLRQDU\ZRUNKDVEHHQXQGHUWDNHQ ,QWKLVSDSHUJHQHUDDQGVSHFLHVRIWKHVXEIDPLO\DUHUHFRJQL]HGIURP Indonesia; Gnathoncus sp., Saprinus (Saprinus) cyaneus auricollis, S. (S.) optabilis, S. (S.) splendens, S. (S.) chalcites, Chalcionellus condolens, and Hypocaccus (Hypocaccus) sinae2IWKHP Gnathoncus sp., Saprinus (Saprinus) chalcites, and Hypocaccus (Hypocaccus) sinae are newly recorded from Indonesia, and Saprinus (S.) optabilis, S. (S.) splendens, S. (S.) cyaneus acuricollis and Chalcionellus condolens are found in several islands as new distributional localities.
