However, a planning application has been submitted for the provision of a local authority 14- 19 Centre with full occupation anticipated in September 2013 for around 250 pupils. The remainder of the site is the preferred site option for a free school with potential for full occupation in 2014 for around 500 pupils (380 places at 11-16, 120 at post 16). This provision would cover the loss of places resulting from the closure of Heasketh Fletcher.
