Current areas of research interest My interest lies particularly in the way communities define, perceive, respond and manage diseases/illnesses. The way different environments and social conditions predispose people to ill health, and how this inter- links with use of conventional and traditional or complementary medicine, as well as barriers to health promotion, evaluation of health programs.
