As people return to work or school following the festive holidays, NET is reminding customers of the great savings customers can make by purchasing a one, three or twelve month pass for the network. Jamie Swift, NET’s Head of Marketing, explained: “Saving money will be near the top of the New Year resolution list for many people following Christmas, and cutting down on travel costs bt pre-paying on the tram is a great way to start. “Offering unlimited tram travel and costing as little as £1.37 per day for adults and 69p per day for kids, our season tickets make perfect sense for people who use the tram to get to work or school.“ As well as saving on the cost of tram travel, NET customers can also avoid the expense and hassle of finding a parking space by using one of the network’s seven park & ride sites. Jamie added: “With over 5,000 free parking spaces coupled with value-for-money season ticket offers, our tram network provides one of the most cost-effective ways of travelling to work in Nottingham.” Further information about NET’s season ticket can be found at www.thetram.net or by calling into the NET Travel Centre on King Street, just off Old Market Square. www.thetram.net What’s In and around around the City n this month Strictly Come Dancing Live January 31st - February 1st, Motorpoint Arena BBC One’s hugely popular entertainment show Strictly Come Dancing is bringing the magic of the TV show back to Nottingham for a must-see event for fans of all ages.
