Upcoming International Women’s Basketball – Junior Tall Ferns vs China Canterbury Basketball is looking for forward to hosting high level women’s international basketball with the Junior Tall Ferns vs China U19 games on Wednesday 7th September at 1pm, and Thursday 8th September at 7:30pm @ Cowles Stadium. The games against China are a key component of the team’s preparation for the FIBA Oceania Championships, in Fiji in December. The Championships are the Qualifying Tournament for the 2017 FIBA U19 World Championships. Mainland Eagles Academy member Esra The Junior Tall Ferns will include Esra McGoldrick McGoldrick will be in action playing for the (Canterbury) and Charlotte Whittaker (North Junior Tall Ferns Canterbury) from the Canterbury region.
