I do agree that the story was well adapted to an Asgard focused moment in the Marvel history, but other than that, The first and most important thing I must say about this is that Siege: X-Men doesn't speak of the X-Men at all, as they didn't participate in the siege. This is the second X-Men novel I've read and I have to say that it was much better than the other. It feels like the book was pushed through to meet a deadline. No trivia or quizzes yet. I swear, Gladiator Marvel's version of DC's Superman at the time should be able to pretty much defeat the X-Men on his own other than maybe Jean Grey when she's in full "Phoenix-mode" , yet the X-Men are continually able to defeat them.
