GOLD JACKET SATURDAYS KICK OFF WITH ON APRIL 29 AT THE HALL MEET & GREET WITH HALL OF FAME RECEIVER OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; HALL OF FAME MEMBERS CAN ATTEND PRIVATE CHALK TALK

CANTON, OHIO – Hall of Famer PAUL WARFIELD will be at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 29 for the Hall’s first “Gold Jacket Saturday” of 2017. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Warfield and take a photo with the Hall of Fame receiver – free with paid museum admission.

The meet and greet is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A professional photographer will be taking pictures that can be purchased or fans may take a photo with their personal cell phone or camera. Autographs are not permitted.

All Hall of Fame Members are invited to attend a private, pre-event, Gold Jacket Chalk Talk with Warfield at 10 a.m. that day. Members will get an intimate glimpse into the life and career of Warfield during the exclusive session. The Chalk Talk is limited to the first 100 members who RSVP with preregistration closing Wednesday, April 26 at noon. Members will then be admitted first into the meet and greet session at 11 a.m. Additionally, they will receive a free professionally printed picture of their experience after the event.

Pro Football Hall of Fame memberships begin at $30 a year and are available at a variety of price points. Warfield, a native of Warren, Ohio played football at Ohio State University before he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the and Buffalo Bills of the rival League. He began his career with the Browns in 1964 where he developed into a quick, smooth, precise pattern runner who was also an excellent blocker. Warfield was traded to the in 1970 where he remained until 1974 as a key element of their offense. Warfield spent the 1975 season with the Memphis Southmen of the short-lived . He then capped off his career with two final seasons in Cleveland retiring in 1977 with 427 catches for 8,565 yards and 85 touchdowns. An eight-time Pro Bowler, Warfield was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1983.
