Though Mr. Whitney had not seen the manuscript, he quoted the national tune index to confirm Surrender of Paris was what later became known as The Down- fall of Paris. Surrender of Paris appears on page five of a tune book dated 1788 with the inscription “Thos. • Lana Del Rey to Play Northside
2014-02-04 13:17 CET Lana Del Rey to play NorthSide The American star will be joined by Rudimental, St. Vincent, White Lies, and Donkey Roadshow & Special Guests at the Danish festival. Lana Del Rey In the summer of 2011, Lana Del Rey became an Internet sensation with the video for "Video Games", which was the first step in a meteoric career that has led to 5 million copies sold of "Born to Die" and two Brit Awards alongside awards from Q Magazine, MTV, and GAFFA. The ep’s "Paradise" and "Tropico" have shortened the wait on the fascinating singer's second album, while at the same time increasing expectations for the upcoming album release, which was recently given the title "Ultraviolence". Lana Del Rey is one of the most interesting and intriguing figures on the international music scene right now, and we are extremely proud that she has chosen to give her first Danish festival concert at NorthSide this summer. Lana Del Rey will plays at NorthSide on Friday the 13th of June. Rudimental The English group broke through in 2012 with the single "Feel the Love" where John Newman’s pop vocal on top of drum'n'bass rhythms secured them a number one spot on the UK Singles Chart and critical acclaim for their platinum selling debut album "Home", which has generated seven singles to date. Rudimental was one of England's most successful acts in 2013, and live they provide a powerful and melodic drum'n'bass experience, which undoubtedly will transform the festival grounds into a giant dance floor.
