1 2008 : New train No. 1025 Nasik Road – Pune introduced from 31 /3/2008. : Introduction of three New trains – Inauguration at the hands of the President of India Her Excellency Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil:

2011 : PRS Window commissioned at Head Post Office, Malegaon , Dist.Nasik on 18/2/2011, under India Post PRS Centre Policy.

: Rake examination Pit in Coach complex Manmad extended from 21 coach length to 24 coach length (i.e. 540 mts) in Dec’12.
: Standardization of lay out by providing loop lines in both direction s- Bagmar station with new lay out along with Panel Interlocking commissioned on 19/12/2012, thus helping immensely in reducing detention/regulation of freight traffic at Khandwa and Dongargaon and improving line capacity of the section.
2013 : Bhusaval division became the first division on Central Railway in Jan’13 to complete all Main Line signal aspects with LED lamps.
: New Amravati -Narkher new line opened for Passenger Traffic on 7/1/12013 and 1st train run on the section was Passenger T.No. 51183 (Bhusaval-New Amravati –Narkher Passenger).
: A ‘ Key Note on Trouble S hooting of Train Lighting & Air -conditioning’ to educate the staff for quality maintenance and rectification of faults in AC and Train-lighting released at the hands of GM/C.Rly at Bhusaval on 30/1/2013.
: In connection with Paras Thermal Power Expansion Project, the work of conversion of Up Loop Line into Common Loop Line has been completed in Jan’13.
: The length of first spur at Paras Goods Shed increased by around 40 mtrs within divisional resources. This avoided one additional placement for full rake.

This will reduce the supply time and help in additional loading. : Kajgaon - CSR of Up Loop Line extended to 752 mtrs on 26/8/2013, facilitating reduction in congestion and blocking the mail line of longer trains.
: Khandwa - one PRS counter started functioning in additional shift from 14:00 to 22:00 hrs on Sunday from 25/08/13.
: BPAC commissioned in LT-DVL block section in Up & Dn direction on 02/09/2013. : Shegaon - CSR of Loop line No. 1 & 2 extended to more than 715 M in Sept’13 to avoid blocking of main line by long trains and thus avoid looping of Mail/Express trains.

: Savda UTS converted into UTS cum PRS on 25/3/2014. : Panel Interlocking work of BSL ‘C’ Cabin commissioned on 31/3/2014.
: Panel Interlocking work at Raver completed and new Panel commissioned on 05/04/2014, facilitated increase of CSL of Up LL from 665 M to 700 M and improved flexibility.
: Bhusaval – Electrification of Up Marshalling Line No. 4, 5 & 6. This will facilitate reception of Up Goods train in Up Marshalling yard with AC locomotive and avoid blockage of Up reception lines and congestion in section.
: Electrification from Badnera to Walgaon completed and section opened for electric traction at 100 kmph, after CRS inspection on 01/07/2014 .
: Electrification of Manmad -Ankai section - In order to introduce commercial services in Manmad-Ankai section, the section has been charged by 25 KV AC and first goods train run 27/8/2014, after CRS inspection.
: Chalisgaon - Work of Extension of Pit-line by 43 mtrs completed in Aug’14. Now, the complete rake 07 coaches of CSN-DHI passenger is accommodated, thus avoiding maintenance of the rake in two phases and ensuring safer condition for maintenance staff. : Bodwad - The work for provision of isolation & shunt signal on Up shunting neck completed on 5/8/2014. In order to facilitate stabling of banking engine on Up shunting neck, provision of derailing switch has been made as isolation along with shunt signal facility on inward and outward movement.
6 : Dormitory of Railway Hospital Bhusaval commissioned on 5/8/2014, thus providing staying facility for the relatives of the indoor patients. It consists of 40 beds (20 for ladies & 20 for gents). This is the first of its kind n Central Railway.
: A system of sending SMS regarding payment items (i.e. Salary, Bills, PF etc) has been introduced at Sr.DFM’s Office Bhusaval in Aug’14.

: Extension of Up loop line at Sirsoli station : The work of extension of Up loop line at Sirsoli station from 683 M to 753 M, sanctioned in DWP/2014-15, completed on 23/09/2014. This has facilitated in accommodating Up Goods trains of enhanced composition.
: On -line Booking of AC and Non AC Retiring rooms and dormitories introduced at MMR, JL, BSL on 27/9/2014 and DVL, CSN, MKU, SEG, AK, BD, BAU & KNW on 28/9/2014 over the division to facilitate the passengers.
: Biometric Attendance System introduced for the administrative staff of DRM Office building in Oct’14. This system is connected to PRIME for making salaries of employees on month-end, thereby eliminating manual feeding of the data .
: Badnera - DS Point No.158 shifted towards NGP end by 55 M on 15/10/2014, thus increasing CSL of Up Goods line from 715 M to 770 M.
: Kurum – Shunt signal on ballast siding (SH-9) and below Starter Signal of Up Loop Line (S/SH-3) have been provided on 8/10/2014, thus facilitating smooth and safe movement of ballast rakes without clamping and padlocking.
: Jalgaon – Yard remodeling completed on 16/10/2014.This has facilitated in increasing CSR of Up Loop Line from 606 M to 767 M, CSR of Up ML line from 676 M to 784 M and relaxation of SOR of up Loop line from 10 to 25 KMPH. : Badnera Yard Remodeling work - To ease out sharp curve for relaxation of PSR involving engineering portion of work has been completed in Dec’14. This has facilitated in increasing the speed on Main-line from 15 kmph to 30 kmph and also on the Loop-lines from 15 kmph to 30 kmph, thus improved the operations & reduced stalling cases on Badnera-Timtala section.
: Badnera - OHE modifications & signaling alterations in connection with shifting of cross over for relaxation of PSR OF 10 KMPH at Badnera yard has been completed in Dec’14. This has facilitated in relaxation of PSR of Dn Loop Line from 10 to 30 KMPH and on DN Main Line from 15 to 30 KMPH.
: Odha - The work of extension of platform for Kumbhmela has been completed in Dec’14.
: Lasalgaon - The Work of conversion of 8 1 ⁄2” T/Os in to 1 in 12” T/Os of UP loop line at LS station has been completed in Dec’14.
: Bhusaval - Provision of DS on Chord -line No. 1 – The work of provision of Derailing switch on Chord-line No. 1 at NGP, sanctioned in DWP 2012-13, has been completed in Dec’14. Execution of this work facilitated in simultaneous reception & despatch of Mail/Express & Goods trains on both the chord-lines.
2015 : Nandgaon - New Running Room , consisting of 5 bedrooms with 6 beds in each room, has been made functional in Jan’15.
7 : Bhusaval - Construction of new Goods-shed has been completed in the month of Nov’14. This will have capacity for full rake handling with proper rail level platform and better approaches than the old goods-shed.
: Bhusaval - ARPAN (Advanced Railway Pension Access Network) Module has been launched on the division from 16/01/2015, in which all payments of settlement dues and pension of superannuated employee have been generated & PPOs will be handed-over through ‘ARPAN’ on the date of superannuation itself.
: Bhusaval - COMPTRAN (Common Portal for Transfer) module has been launched on the division for registration of applications received from the employees for Inter Railway / Mutual transfers in Feb’15.
: Bhusaval: Passenger train No. 51187/5188 (BSL – Katni passenger) has been augmented by 2 GS coaches w. e. from 09/2/2015.
: Bhusaval: Commercial Speed of Train No. 51181/51182 Devlali – Bhusaval Passenger has been increased to 50 kmph w.e. from 14/2/2015.
: Paras: 25 KV separate feeding arrangement to MSPGVCL siding from PS-SP to PS/13 commissioned on 4/3/2015.
: Nasik : The work of provision of cross-over at BSL end of Nasik station has been completed on 22/4/2015 to facilitate dispatch of Dn trains from Up platform lines.
: Nasik : Yard remodeling work including extension of PF No.1 from 21 to 23-coach length has been completed and commissioned on 25/04/2015.
: The departure timing of Train No. 51424 (MMR-IGP shuttle) has been pre-poned from 14:30 hrs to 13:50 hrs ex- Manmad. With this change in timings, commuters of Nasik and IGP area are reaching their destination in time. Previously this train was getting delayed at MMR station for giving precedence to two M/Exp trains.
: Bhusaval: SPARMV (Self- propelled Accident Relief Medical Van) with (two Power Cars at both ends in the formation) has been commissioned on 16/06/2015. The sanctioned speed of this SPARMV is maximum up to 110 Kmph.
: AKOLA: Parcel Management System (PMS) has commissioned on 18 th June 2015. : Nasik: New additional FOB with ramp & stair case provided in the month of July-2015 to facilitate passengers. : Nasik: New additional platform w ith COP, Water stand post, lightening, sitting arrangements, provided in the month of July-2015 to facilitate passengers. : Nasik: The work of extension of Platform no.1 towards CSTM end was completed in July-2015. : Bhusa val: Module (Computer Programme ) has been developed in July-2015, for following activities to minimize manual activities. i) LARSGESS- For preparation of list of eligible candidates. ii) Cadre – All promotions being effected through it. iii) Overtime (OT)- Calculation of OT.
: Nasik: Two new UTS Counters commissioned at Subhash Chowk Nasik, on 25 th Aug’15. : ‘May I Help You’ Booths opened at NK, MMR & KNW stations on 28 th Aug’15 to facilitate the pilgrims of Kumbh Mela.
8 : 07 ATVM s commissioned during the month viz. BD-02, AMI-01, AK-02 & BSL-02 during the month on 20/08/2015, 21/08/2015 & 25/08/2015 respectively : Electrification work of Phase -II – The section from Walgaon station to Inplant of Amravati Thermal Power Plant of M/s Rattan India Power Ltd. (TKM 38.500) charged successfully on 28/08/2015 and given fit for Goods AC traffic.
: Nasik: Illumination has been completely made on LED, thus making it the first LED illumined railway station on the division in the month of Aug-2015.

: Bhusaval: Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant has been provided on P/F No. 3 to facilitate clean drinking water to the passengers in the month of Aug’2015.
: Kasbe Sukene - The work of increasing CSL of Up loop line from 670M to 738 M completed on 7/10/2015. : Shegaon : Computerized Announcement System has been started from the current location of platform to enquiry counter; both works are now done by one staff in each shift.
: Amravati: On-line booking of Retiring Room started in November 2015. : Train No. 12405/06 (BSL-HNZM-BSL Gondwana Exp) augmented by one AC-III coach from 30th Nov.2015. : Train No. 12112/11 (AMI-CSTM Exp) augmented by one each AC-III, AC-II, SL & GS coach in Nov’2015 : 56 steel 03 Seater benches and 78 RCC 03 seater benches through MPLAD funds were provided on various stations on the division in the month of Dec’2015.
2016 : Jalgaon: Height of PF No. 1 & 2 increased and Cover Over Platform (COP) of PF No. 3 extended in the month of Jan’2016. : Nasik : 30 Kwp Solar Grid commissioned at IRIEEN on 1/1/2016. : Reliability and safety of LC Gate - Conversion of mechanical lifting barrier to electrical lifting barrier commissioned at L/C-115A. : Enhanc ing Safety & Reliability of Lifting Barrier - Sliding Boom commissioned at LC 115/A. : L/C - 21/A on CSN-DHI section closed on 16/03/2016. : Manning of 5 Unmanned L/Cs on CSN-DHI section started viz. L/C 11 (RM- MKW), 13 & 14 (MKW-SHF), 16 (SHF-BRVR) and 20 (BRVR-MAHD).

9 ACHIEVEMENTS 2016-2017 1. Passenger Amenities : 1.1 COATVM (Currency Operated Ticket Vending Machine) commissioned at Nasik and Pachora stations on 6 th & 26 th April’16 respectively. With this, all the 24 COATVM’s of Bhusaval division commissioned. 1.2 ATVM (Automatic Ticket Vending Machine) commissioned at Jalgaon in Aug’16. With this, 26 ATVMs are functioning on the division. 1.3 STBA (Station Ticket Booking Agents) appointed at 16 ‘E’ category stations over the division on 1 st Apr’16, at Chandur Bazar on 12 th Sep’16, Kherwadi, Waghoda, Jalamb, Kurum and Naya Amravati during the month January 2017. With this, 25 STBAs & 01 STBS are functioning over the division 1.4 JTBS (Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevak) - One additional Counter allotted to licensee at Akola on 24 th Aug’16. With this, 20 JTBS are working on the division. 1.5 POET (Passenger Operated Enquiry Terminal) commissioned at Murtizapur and Pachora on 24 th and 26 th Aug’16 respectively. With this, 18 POETs are functioning on the division. 1.6 UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System)- i) One additional UTS counter opened at North side of Jalgaon on 31 st May’16. ii) UTS Terminals commissioned at New Amravati on 31/08/2016, Walgaon on 01/09/16 and Chandur Bazar on 01/09/2016. iii) UTS Terminals commissioned at Wadoda on 7 th & at Yeulkhed on 15 th Feb. 2017. iv) Unreserved ticketing through mobile Application enabled at A-1(1) and A(10) category stations during January-2017 .
1.7 Point of Sale machines (POSs) - i) 39 POSs installed at 30 PRS & UTS cum PRS locations i.e. Devlali, Nasik Road (3), Nasik City booking office (2), Niphad, Lasalgaon, Manmad, Nandgaon Chalisgaon, Dhule, Pachora, Jamner, Jalgaon (2), Bhusawal (3), Bodwad, Malkapur, Buldhana, Nandura, Khamgaon, Shegaon, Akola(2), Murtajapur, Achalpur, Yavatmal, Badnera, Amravati (2), Savda, Raver, Burhanpur, Nepanagar, Khandwa (2), till March-2017 . i) 12 POSs installed at Parcel Offices – Devlali, Badnera, Akola (02), Nasik (2), Burhanpur, Khandwa (2), Amaravati & Bhusaval (2) till March-2017. 1.8 PRS (Passenger Reservation System) - i) India Post PRS counter has been commissioned at Trambakeshwar Post Office on 12 th January 2017 1.9 FOB (Foot Over Bridge) – i) Shegaon - One additional FOB with ramp commissioned on 14/5/2016. ii) Murtizapur - FOB extended by 17M in opposite side of the existing staircase in May’16.
iii) Khandwa - Platform height of P/F No. 2 raised at Itarsi end, upto old FOB, Aug’16. iv) Bhusaval - Additional FOB (4.88 m wide) with provision of two lifts has been completed during the month Dec-2016.
10 1.10 Lifts i) 02 Lifts are provided on Platform no 1/3 & 4/6 at Bhusawal station during the month January 2017. 1.11 COP (Cover Over Shed)- i) Platform Shelters provided at 8 ‘E’ category stations on the division– Bodwad-4, Varangaon-8, Gaigaon-8, Khamkhed-08, Katepurna-8, Nagzhari-8, Paras-8, and Takli -8, in Oct’16. ii) Small COP with seating arrangements provided at 8 stations on the division– Shirsoli- 2, Maheji-2, Mhasawad-5, Nimbhori-4, Savda-4, Raver-4, Jalamb-4, Biswa Bridge-4, Achegaon- 06 & Khumgaon Bhurti- 04 in Dec’16. iii) Small Cover over Sheds with seating arrangements provided at Achegaon (06) & Khumgaon Bhurti (04) stations in Dec’16. iv) Small Cover over Sheds with seating arrangements have been provided at Ghoti (3), Lahavit (6), Odha (6) & Asvali (6) stations during the month of January 2017. v) Six Small Cover over Sheds with seating arrangement have been provided at Kherwadi station during the month of February 2017. 1.12 MPLAD scheme - Out of the fund Rs.12.46 lakhs provided by Hon’ble MP Jalgaon, Shri A.T.(Nana) Patil additional seating arrangement provided at Jalgaon-25, Chalisgaon-30, Pachora-16, Mhasavad-5 and Kajgaon-5 (Total 81 Steel Benches) in Nov’16. 1.13 Disabled -fri endly Amenities : i) Toilets provided at Katepurna and Mana stations during the month Apr’16. ii) Toilets provided at Nasik station on P/F No 2, 3 & 4 during the month of Aug’16. iii) Toilets and ramp near booking window for Disabled persons, provided at Kurum and Takli stations during the month. 1.14 Coach Guidance, Train indicator boards and PC based announcing system provided at Amravati station during the month January 2017. 1.15 Janani Seva - On the directives of Railway Board, Baby food, hot milk and hot water are being made available at all catering units of A1, A & B category stations on the division on 08/06/2016. 1.16 Breast Feeding Corner set-up at Khandwa , Burhanpur, Bhusaval, Chalisgaon, Pachora, Jalgaon, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola and Murtizapur stations in Waiting Room in Dec’16. 1.17 Jalgaon - 11 Water stands provided on Platform No. 1 & 2 during the month June 2016. 1.18 Badnera – Mobile charging points provided (05 sockets – 12 Nos.) on platform, Booking PRS & IInd Class Waiting hall public area – 08 Nos. in the month of May. 1.19 Nimbhora - Up platform (400 meters) renovated with concrete and chequered tiles in Sept’16. 1.20 Khandwa - One water-stand on Platform No. 1, 2 and one small Shed with seating on platform No.2 provided in Sept’16. 1.21 Bhusaval - Vacuum de-watering (2500 meters) and chequered tiles (300 meters) provided on Platform No. 1 in Sept’16.
11 1.22 Current reservation –cum night refund counter commissioned at 11 stations viz. Devlali, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Jalgaon. Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Amravati, Burhanpur, Khandwa for the convenience of passengers during the month Jun’16. 1.23 Chalisgaon - Halt provided to Train No.12716/15 (Sachkhand Express ) from 6 th March 2017 on experimental basis for six months. Similarly, Halt provided to Train No. 22885/86 (Antyodaya Express) from 18th March 2017 1.24 Bhusaval - Additional Water Clarifier Filter Plant commissioned in March-2017 . 1.25 Water Coolers - 150 Ltr capacity provided at Chalisgaon – 01 No, Nasik -01 No., Badnera – 02 Nos. & Amravti – 02 Nos. 2. Caring of Employees : i) Integrated Payroll and Accounting System (IPAS) – Pay sheet for the month of Apr’16 passed in IPAS successfully.
ii) Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant (100 lit/hrs) installed in TTE Rest House at Manmad in Apr’16.
iii) Single Window System started in July’16 the division for speedy disposal of Medical re-imbursement cases .
iv) Jeevan Pramaan ID – To facilitate Pensioners, Jeevan Pramaan Centre has been in DRM Campus. During the month approximately 1000 Pensioners were issued Jeevan Pramaan ID. v) A Multi -purpose health check up camp was organized at Dhule station on 25/10/2016 for the employees of Dhule jurisdiction with the help of Mobile Van from Hqrs. A Team of Doctors from Bhusaval Divisional Hospital as well as from Byculla Hospital examined the patients. Total 150 railway employees and their family members availed the opportunity. vi) PPOs with 7th Pay Commission Pay was issued to the employees Superannuated in the month of Nov’16. 3. System Improvement.

12 iii) To arrest the failures due to interruption of power supply: a) IPS commissioned at RRIs, L/Cs 100, 101, Devlali, Akola station, L/C 38. b) IPS replaced • At LC – 116 & LC – 127 on 18.1.17 & 24.1.17 respectively. • At Hirapur & Pachora stations on 07.02.17 & 09.02.17 respectively. c) IPS batteries replaced at LC -116, LC-127 at LC-118, at Katepurna & Gaigaon stations.
iv) To improve the reliability and safety of L/C Gate, conversion of Mechanical Lifting Barrier to Electric Lifting Barrier of Heidz make commissioned at L/Cs 100, 101, 136, 106 and 107.
v) To enhance the Safety & Reliability of Lifting Barrier, Sliding Boom has been commissioned at L/C No.100, 101, 112, 136, 96, 86, 103, 84E, 87, 106, 107, 94 and 95.
vi) For enhancing safety , in quick and easy operation, overaged Signalling Gears have been replaced by provision of RRI at Akola station on 11/09/2016.
vii) To increase the Safety - At Akola-Gaigaon IBH, Universal Axle Counter has been replaced by CEL SSDAC in Up & Dn direction in Sept’16 .
viii) For Prevention of fire in S&T installation: Fire alarm system has been commissioned a) At BSL RRI & KNW panel in the month of April-2016. b) At CSN RRI & MMR panel in the month of May-2016. ix) To monitor the status of Digital & Analog inputs at remote places: RTU has been commissioned at LC 100 & LC 101. x) At LC 99, new Road signal has been installed at new location for improvement of better visibility signal. xi) E-tendering - System of e-tendering has been started in BSL division in the month of Jun’16.
13 xii) Bhusaval Division became the first division on Central Railway to open and operate E-Tender for Housekeeping contract with Cleaning / Sweeping, Washing of linen, Catering arrangements etc of TTE Rest House, Manmad station for three years. E-tender was opened on 13 th Oct’16. xiii) 10 KWP Grid connection Solar Power System commissioned at DRM office building in Aug’16. xiv) 100% LED Illumination provided at following stations-

5. Reduction in Caution Order - i) Caution Order of 75 KM/hr reduced from 6.8 Kms (Kms.414/24 – 408/0) to 4 Kms (Kms.414/24 – 410/28) Up Road in Jalgaon-Shirsoli section by doing TRR.
ii) Temporary Speed Restrictions of 75 Km/hr in 4 KMs patch from Km.156 to 160 on IGP-BSL section continued from Nov.2013 has been reduced to 1 Km by doing TRR (P).
14 6. To promote Tribal Art on Railway Stations, Warli paintings (the tribal art of Maharashtra state) on Station building and FOB, showing cleanliness awareness, save water, safety message, done at Malkapur station during the month.
7. International Yoga Day organized on 21/6/2016 on the division. About 350 Officers and Employees participated in this Yoga Shibir. Similar, Yoga Shibir was also conducted at Stations and Depots.
8. Road Show – In terms of Rly Bd’s L.No. 2016/PR/13/34 dated 08/06/2016, 16 Road Shows were conducted on the division during the month of June’16 involving NGOs, Trade Unions, etc. to show case the past 2 years’ achievements of Indian Railways/Bhusaval division.
9. Rail Vikas Shivir was organized by officers and supervisors of commercial department. Brainstorming session was conducted with the Railway employees during the month October 2016.
10. Swachh Rail Swachh Bharat: i) Under the “Swacch Bharat Mission” , Cleanliness Drive was conducted on the division at all A1, A category stations from 16 th to 31 st Aug’16, during which total 382 NGO members participated and extended help in cleaning.
15 ii) Swacch Rail Swacch Bharat Saptah conducted at various stations in the division from 17 th to 24 th September 2016 . Hon'ble MP Shri. Harishchandra Chavan & Ward Members / Public Representatives & NGO Organizations participated in the Cleanliness Drive.
13 Shramdan:- i) At Malkapur station, Shramdan was done by 50 students of School of Scholars, Malkapur on 22nd Dec’16. ii) At Chalisgaon station on 3 rd Feb 2017 by 20 NCC students of B.P ARTS, SMA science, KKC commerce collage and K.R. Kotkar Jr. Collage Chalisgaon. iii) At Malkapur station on 4 th Feb 2017 by 15 volunteers of Sant Gadge Baba Vichar Manch Malkapur. iv) On the eve of birth anniversary of Baba Hardevji (Nirankari Baba) on 23 February 2017, Shram Dan was carried out by 1960 volunteers of Sant Nirankari Charitab le trust at Nasik, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Amravati and Khandwa stations.

(flagged-off at Nasik) from 08/04/2017. b) Train No. 82911 ex Valsad to Chhapra from 16/04/2017. c) Train No. 22118/17 (Amaravati-Pune-Amaravati Express) from 11/05/2017. ii) The frequency of Train No. 12119/20 (Amaravati -Ajni Intercity Express) has been increased from five to six days in a week from 01/05/2017. iii) Halt Provided: Train No . 11072 Kamayani Express at Lasalgaon station on and from 18 th Aug.2017. 2. 2 Point of Sale machines (POSs) installed : 40 Nos. at PRS & UTS cum PRS, 89 at UTS, 16 at Parcel Offices and 17 at Goods Shed locations. (Total: 162 Nos ). 2. 3 Drinking Water facility: i) 14 Water Coolers provided at 7 stations (including 02 under NGO policy). ii) 02 Water Coolers with RO system installed at Amravati under NGO policy. iii) Reverse Osmosis (RO) system installed at Badnera under NGO policy. iv) Water Vending Machines: 41 Nos provided at 15 stations. 2. 4 6 Small sheds with seating arrangement provided at Pachora under NGO policy. 2. 5 Sanitary Pad Vending Machine: 06 Nos. in Ladies Waiting Rooms at major stations. 3. System Improvement / Innovations - i) 100% LED Illumination provided at 97 Stations , 79 Gates and 1 Goods Shed (Savda).
17 ii) Passenger station Bhusaval where more than 115 Trains (more than 2100 coaches) per day pass through in both UP & DN directions, for which Safe-to-Run Examination is done. Earlier there was no proper seating arrangement for C&W staff. Now a hut is developed for C&W staff considering weather aspects and focus on rolling- in/out-examination. Total 15 huts have been provided at Passenger station/BSL and 08 at MMR. This hut will provide good work-environment to C&W staff for better examination of en-route trains. ii i) CCTV cameras installed in Running Rooms at Khandwa, Badnea, Nandgaon, Igatpuri and Manmad .
iv) Wet Free Storage for Washed Linen: provided at Igatpuri to provide dry warm linen in running rooms. It is designed in-house. This cupboard is fitted with heater and blower motor to keep the linen free from moisture during monsoon & winter weather.
v) Checking of Mounted Lateral Play: Dismounting and mounting of CTRBs is being carried out in ROH Depot/BSL since from Sept- 2013. Mounted lateral play is CRITICAL to bearing performance. With correct mounted lateral play more rollers of bearing would share the load resulting peak load per roller will be less. Excessive lateral play would cause fewer rollers to share load and resulting peak load per rollers will be more. This reduces the Bearing Fatigue Life. It also increases lateral load on grease seal, axle end screws. This is may cause Hot Axle in wagons if this critical play not checked after mounting of CTRBs. To overcome this problem, ROH Depot, BSL is started to check/measure this mounted lateral play of Overhauled CTRBs mounted during ROH of wagons. During this year from Apr-17 to till this date total 08 Nos. of CTRBs have been rejected for excessive mounted lateral play which would have cause of Hot Axle of wagons if allowed in service.
18 vi ) Handling of Overhauled CTRBs: CTRBs are most fragile items in wagon components. The overhauled CTRBs for mounting at ROH BSL are collected from KWV (Kurduwadi) Workshop. Earlier CTRBs were transported through sheet metal boxes which was more damaging to CTRBs. From Aug-2017 ROH Depot, BSL started to transport overhauled as well as bad CTRBs for overhauling through wooden impreg ply manufactured racks / maze. This ensures safe handling of bearings and no damages to bearings at all.
x) Garbage pickers for Bio -toilets - Bio -toilets are generally choked due to trapping of bottles, waste items etc. thrown by passengers. It is very difficult to extract these trapped materials. To overcome this problem, a garbage picker has been developed by Coaching Complex/BSL for easy removing of these waste items to avoid chocking of bio-toilets. These garbage pickers are available in passenger station/BSL, Coaching depots Manmad, Amaravati and Bhusaval.
xi) Improvement in working of Bio -toilets - Presently there are 329 Bio-toilets in 92 coaches in coaching rakes primarily maintained in the division. With the concentrated (In-house) efforts by the coaching depot staff, all bio-toilets were ensured for proper functioning in the rakes of BSL, MMR and AMI Coaching depots. In addition, 100% provision of dust bins has been done to avoid chocking of bio-toilets. xi i) FOIS (Freight Operations Information System) commissioned at Pachora, Paras, Savda & Raver Goods shed on 6 th , 7 th , 8 th & 9 th December 2017 respectively. xiii ) Train Signal Register Project (TSR) has been implemented on Bhusawal Division at Manmad on 06/03/2018, Nandgaon on 07/03/2018, Jalgaon & Akola on 08/03/2018 and at Badnera on 09/03/2018. xiv) Green Gymnasium & Yoga hall in Nandgaon Running Room, developed in-house from scrap / released materials of C&W, S&T and Engineering Department.

2. Caring of Staff i) Solar Water Heater: 04 Nos . 500 LPD provided in Running Room & one 500 LPD in Officer’s Rest House at Badnera station. ii) Separate room for female train crew with attach ed bathroom facility consisting of four beds commissioned at KNW R/Room on 29 /05/2018.
iii) One Lift commissioned at DRM Office building on 26 /01/ 2019.
3. System Improvement/ Innovations : i) New Control office commissioned at Bhusaval Divisional Office on 22/02/2019.
ii) Computerization of Train Signal Register (TSR) Project of Railway Board developed by CRIS, installed and commissioned on Bhusawal division at 05 locations viz. Manmad, Nandgaon, Jalgaon, Akola and Badnera ( for use of SMs for making entries of train movement online). Out of these, 04 locations i.e. NGN, JL, AK and BD have been made fully functional with COA (Control Office Application) during April 2018. iii) Crew Management System (CMS) commissioned at A mravati , C halisgaon , N asik road and J algaon and made fully functional for Crew Booking through CMS during April-2018.
22 iv) A working model of watering system in lavatory and basin of Non-AC ICF coaches has been developed (in- house) by Coaching Complex/BSL On this model, a modification is carried out on trial basis by providing Non-Return Valve at the end of side filling to avoid wastage of water. This model will help in improving NR the technical knowledge of maintenance staff.
v) Provision of Abrasive Cutting Machine Abrasive cutting machine is a standard list item for ARTs/ARMEs. Accordingly, abrasive cutting machines are received and kept in ART/BSL, SPARMV/BSL and ART/MMR. This equipment is very useful for metal cutting as well as concrete cutting during restoration.
vi ) To avoid failures of Axle counters due to Engineering staff working - For easy identification of sleepers mounting Axle counter coils (TX/RX) has been painted by Yellow & Black strips at Naydongari, Hirapur & Naydongari -Hirapur IBH. vii ) A trial was conducted for reducing coach watering time by enhancing size of side water filling pipe from existing 31.5mm ID to 50mm ID with existing watering pressure without boosting and it was observed that 4 to 5 minutes time was saved. This modification will help in quick watering system of en-route train s at Passenger station. More trials are being conducted . vii i) Provision of Spare control table - New Spare control table which is a standard list item for ARTs/ARMEs has been received and commissioned on at Pachora on 22/11/2018.
ix ) Provision of Water mist based fire fighting system: BSL ART, SPARMV and ART/MMR have been provided with a new Water mist based fire fighting system as per standard list.
x) To monitor the condition of LC gate section, Remote Terminal Unit (RTUs) has been networked with Data-Logger at LCs 106, 107 & 108.
23 xi ) Solar energy powered Rolling in examination hut - Recently, the division has upgraded one existing Rolling in hut by providing Solar Energy Power between PF No. 1 & 3 at Passenger Station/BSL . Facilities like cushioned seats, lights, fans, charging point etc., are provided in this hut for better comfort to the examination staff as well as transparent glass for observing incoming trains during rolling in examination. This rolling-in hut very good examination set up with sufficient illumination for under gear examination during rolling-in of the train. There are 4 KWh/day while 3KWh/day shall be feed back into the power grid. xii ) Solar energy powered submersible pump - A huge tree plantation along the track was done between BSL-JL station. For regular watering, a solar energy-powered submersible pump has installed in existing borewell available near the area at Kms. 438 near Waghur Bridge. xii i) Development of Pressure Sensor test bench for Three phase locos: - 15 Nos. WAG-9H is in holding at ELS/BSL from Feb. 2018. For testing of Pressure sensor, no test bench is available in shed. Shed has developed in-house Pressure sensor test bench for three phase locos. Pressure sensor test bench is used for testing pressure sensors. xiv) Development of FDU test bench for Three phase locos: - 15 Nos. WAG-9H Loco are in holding at ELS/BSL from Feb. 2018. For testing of Fire detection unit , no test bench was available in shed. Shed has developed in-house FDU test bench for three phase locos. 24 xvi) 100 Feet Monumental Flag installed in the South Side Circulating area of Bhusawal station . Smt. Rakshatai Khadse, Hon.ble M.P./Raver, inaugurated the same on 25/01/2019. On this occasion, MLA/BSL, Shri Sanjay Savkare, President, Municipality, Shri Raman Bhole and other dignitaries were also present .
xvii ) Upgradation of Train No. 12111/12112 AMI Express under Project Utkrisht. In order to improve the condition of coaches running in Mail/Express trains, Rly. Board have decided to upgrade trains and sanctioned under RSP PB Item No.1206/18-19. In this regard, train No. 12111/12112 (AMI SF Express) of Bhusawal division has been nominated for upgradation under this project Utkrist . As such, one Rake have been upgraded in March-2019 and work of other rake is under progress. xvii i) ‘ARUSHAN’ - A weekly e -book on Whatsaap developed by Personnel Branch has been released by GM/C.Rly during his visit to BSL on 28/03/2019.
xix ) New Control office inaugurated at the hands of GM/C.Rly on 28/03/2019.
Control section of BSL-BD-CNDB segregated in to 02 control sections viz. Bhusawal–Shegaon and Shegaon–Badnera-Chandurbazar in March 2019 for smooth functioning and flexibility.
xx) Development of Environment and Rail Heritage Museum/Park at Bhusaval -
An old dump yard available adjacent to ATTS (Area Traffic Training School) and adjacent to main road leading to station has been developed as Rail Heritage Musuem/Park and echo friendly green area, where the old railway heritage items have been systematically displayed. NG steam engine, NG coaches, various antique apparatus and equipments of old era of GIP Rly have been kept in the museum. A working toy-train and a small saloon. GM/C.Rly inaugurated this park on 28.03.2019.
xxi ) Malkapur : Provided Route Relay Interlocking, Electronic Interlocking and Panel Interlocking in Mar-2019.
25 4. Beautifications to Stations: i) Amravati station with wild life and forest conservation paintings, dedicated in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Guardian Minister of State, for Industries & Mining, Environment Shri Pravin Pote and Hon’ble MP -Amravati Shri Anandrao Adsul on 29/07/ 2018.
ii ) Badnera station: Beautified with Wild life and forest conservation paintings .
iii ) Murtizapur Station: Beautified with painting of Shri Gadge Baba.
iv) Akola station: Beautified with Wild life and forest conservation paintings .
v) Malakapur Station: Beautified with Wild life and forest conservation paintings .

ix) Bhusaval station - Circulating area at South side of BSL station has been enhanced from 1200 Sqms to 12000 Sqms. A beautiful garden has been developed, monumental flag and Army Tank have added a lot in the asthetic of the station facade.

Total 5537 encroachments removed during various drives conducted on the division from Sept-2017 to Mar-2019 and 176 acres of precious land has been recovered from the clutches of anti-social elements. Besides, due to disconnection of unauthorized electric connections, consumption of 12000 electric units per day is saved, leading to recurring saving of Rs. 2.63 Crore per annum and also consumption of water has been reduced by 40% by disconnection of unauthorized pipelines.
