I found this egg sac in our little pond on the Easter weekend. It’s obviously not a basket of Easter eggs! LOL! The eggs seem too large for our little Pacific tree frog so I’m thinking they might be salamander eggs. I’ve sectioned them off from our little goldfish that managed to overwinter in the pond. Hopefully I will get to see the eggs develop! It brings back such happy CANCELLED memories of all the tadpoles we used to raise in my classroom! Ironic story here… the very first froglet I ever managed to raise, was eaten the next day by one of the accompanying salamanders! After that, I was very careful to separate the two types of eggs!
