Please do not conduct any public hearings on the carshare program at the Balboa Reservoir until after the

Project Review Committee has vetted the application While I have no reason to believe the

Committee will disapprove the application I need to reserve the Committee's right to do so and don't want the

public to become invested until after the Committee vets the project

Please advise Getaround that we cannot issue a license on the 80-foot southern boundary of the

reservoir The reason is that we have high pressure subsurface water transmission pipelines in this area We

need to preserve our right to access maintain and repair the pipelines in this area

Hi Rosanna and Chris

We permit the on-street vehicle share program and legislate on-street spaces for the 4 approved vehicle sharing

organizations VSO after internal reviews outreach and public hearing process The Supervisor's office has expressed a

desire for more shared mobility although we also know on-street parking in this area is tight so we thought some of the open off-street spaces might be good for carshare Even if it's temporary it further socializes the concept of

providing a great mobility option when walking biking or transit don't fit the trip purpose

Approved VSOs

City Carshare powered by Getaround Eric Rago ericrago getaround com and Greg Petters greg pettersgocarma com

Zip Car Stuart Cotrell scoltrell com Uhaul Victor Vanegas victor uhaul com

Maven Tristan Hensel tristanhensel gmcom

Getaround also a 100 shared fleet branded as City Carshare but also runs a peer to peer program whereby people

can rent out their personal vehicles We do not allow Getaround branded vehicles to participate in the on-street

program bc this is prime real estate and we don't want it to become someone's personal parking space-the vehicle using the spaces we legislate should be available to anyone anytime Of course as off-street spaces you are welcome to do approve what you think is best but wanted to make clear our relationship with Getaround we only permit the City

Carshare vehicles for our on-street program

I am happy to answer any questions you may have pricing data etc but at this point I don't need to be part of any

discussions you have with any of the VSOs it will be an arrangement you all come to

Hi Mari

Apologies for my belated reply This was discussed in recent meetings with Rosanna and Chris as well as with Charmaine

Curtis who represents City College Everyone is interested in pursuing spaces for Getaround so I encourage you to work

directly with Rosanna and Chris from PUC about adding spaces to the lower reservoir per Rosanna's email below

I will also connect you with Charmaine via separate email so that you can give her more information that she can pass

along to City College to assess whether they are interested

Give me a ring if you need anything else and thanks Leigh

Hi Mari

I personally think this would be fabulous City College would finally get a little bit of TDM but there's a

lot of sensitivity around this parking lot so we should tread carefully Leigh and I are planning to meet

with our City College contact next week so I'd like to softly raise the idea then and gauge the reaction

we get I'd suggest that Leigh circle back with you and or Eric after that

Hi Mari

Thanks for your email Although the SFPUC has jurisdiction over the site and I

commend this program I recommend that you and or Eric Rago discuss this request with Emily Lesk and Jeremy Shaw who are working on the proposed development There are some current constraints including utilities and the

SFPUC's license that allows City College to park on the site

If Emily incoming project manager Leigh Lutenski and Jeremy agree we can

work with Eric to issue a fee-based license to Getaround for a one-year to two year term The license can be extended as appropriate

I also recommend that Eric contact City College to promote his program on the main campus

Importance High

Hello Ms Russell

I am on the team reviewing the Balboa Reservoir project as a representative from the Curb Management Team CMT Another one of my efforts as a member of the CIVIT is to oversee the on-street carshare program

which is permitted by the SFMTA One of the companies in our program

3 is interested in learning if there is an opportunity to locate a vehicle in the parking lot Knowing that the lot currently has capacity and will not be under construction for a bit I thought it might be a good fit for the immediate future as such I will pass along your contact info and wanted to flag that Eric Rago from

Getaround which operates the City Carshare program might contact you

Thanks and have a nice weekend
