Luigi Righetti is a small family company located in the village of Valgatara in Marano which is one of the very best areas for Valpolicella Classico

History goes back to 1909 when the respected winemaker Angelo Righetti started producing wine for the local market

Luigi Righetti is the 3rd generation wine maker who produced wine to be enjoyed outside Veneto. Born in 1923, he took over in 1947, is now 92 years old but still involved in the family business

Today it is Luigi’s sons, Giuseppe and Gianni (Gianmaria) who are heading up the winery and Gianni is the wine maker Some facts:
