Unfortunately, this has resulted in a city that is nearly impossible to travel throughout the city with non- motorized means of transportation. The configuration of large highways or interstate corridors has created physical barriers and effectively isolated several neighborhoods. The Virginia Beach Trail will provide the means to stitch this city together with this active mobility highway and unite us.
