Marital status: Married. YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL WORK: 27 YEARS BACKGROUND I was born in poor family in a remote village of Madurai District. With my own earnings, I did undergraduate (B.A. Economics). Untouchability, atrocities, and harassment practiced to my own my family and other dalit family in my native area inspired me to involve in social work. I worked as village animator and community organizer in some NGOs of Madurai and Trichy districts. During 1994, I promoted SEEDS along with some likeminded friends and women. I have dedicated my life for empowerment of women, children, youth and disabled belonging to dalit, backward and most backward communities in rural, urban slum and tribal area of Namakkal, Madurai and Trichirappalli Districts. My ambition is to identify agricultural families and educate them on organic farming and good productivity of organic produce thereby enable them get livelihood and sustainable development.
