The NEOMED Public Health Interest Group sponsors Foxtrot, east coast swing, west coast swing basics and practice dance February 11, Sunday, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Want to learn some new moves to take on the dance floor? Want to impress your date at the up-coming Aesculapius Charity Ball on February 17? Whether you have taken an intro class or not, we are going to cover the basics of west coast swing, east coast swing and foxtrot.
Who: Anyone who wants to look great on the dance floor! You do not need to have a partner, and no experience is needed! What: West coast swing/east coast swing/foxtrot basics and practice dance Where: Northeast Ohio Medical University, Sequoia Wellness (in NEW Center), 4209 State Route 44, Rootstown, OH 44272 Wear: Comfortable clothes. No black hard-soled shoes. If you do not have suede-bottom dance shoes or really smooth-bottomed tennis shoes, bring a pair of socks! When: Sunday, February 11, 2018, 1:30-4:30 p.m. Schedule: 1:30—refresher lesson with Amy Lee and friends on foxtrot, east coast swing and west coast swing, 2:30-4:30 p.m.—practica (this is a chance to ask questions and dance with people who know these dances well) How: Call Sequoia Wellness at 330.578-9030 to register or just pay at the door! Registered admission: students $5, Sequoia members $5, Non-Sequoia members $10 (includes water, snacks, 1-hour refresher on foxtrot, east coast swing, west coast swing and 2- hour dance with dancers to help you).
