The Colombian Cycling Federation and the city of Bogotá is proud to invite you to participate in the UCI BMX World Cup 2021, event to be held during May 28, 29 and 30 of 2021 in Bogotá, .

Bogotá is the capital and the largest city in Colombia, with an attitude of 2,630 meters above sea level and with an area of 1,587 km is a point of convergence of people from all over the country, it is diverse and multicultural: it combines modern constructions with others that evoke its colonial past. Bogotá is green thanks to its parks and the that dominate the sanctuaries of and Guadalupe, but it also has the color of the brick of numerous buildings also called colonial treasures.

Registration

Late registrations

Late registration is only possible through the National Federation or UCI BMX Team and until the riders’ confirmation on site which is on Thursday May 27th between 17:30 – 19:30.

The entry fee for Late registration is €500 for Elite men and Elite women and €300 for Under 23 Men and Under 23 Women and must be paid immediately on site. Late entries are entries handled after the online registration deadline and before the riders’ confirmation deadline. Once the riders’ confirmation deadline has passed no more late entries will be accepted.

Rules

The UCI BMX Supercross World Cup is governed by the current 2021 regulations.

Number Plates Each rider will be assigned a number plate by the UCI once registration has been completed. These plates will be supplied by the UCI partner BOX Components and must be used by the riders.

The trophies will be awarded to the first three riders of each category at the awards ceremony. Prize Money Prize money will be paid in euros at the event site, athletes must present a copy of the general information page of their passport.

5. Team Information Team Information

Team BIBS Team BIBs will be provided for National Teams and UCI BMX Teams (1 or 2 per nation, depending on the number of entries from that team) by the Secretary during the riders confirmation. This takes place during riders’ confirmation on Thursday 27th of May between 15.30 and 17.30 at the registration site. Teams will be asked to pay a € 100 deposit. The team BIBs give access to allocated places explained by the PCP before the start of the first practice. The bibs need to be returned to the Secretary at latest by the end of racing on Sunday 30th of May. You will also get the deposit back at that time. Team areas The team tent areas are situated behind the start hills. Team tent Areas are not accessible for . Parking for teams and riders is possible in the car parking for national teams. This parking is clearly indicated, and the car must be provided with a parking card. You will receive the parking card at the riders confirmation. Team managers meeting The Team Management information will be shared by email to the Team Managers that have provided details when registering the riders through the UCI Registration system. There will be a question process from the notes. It is strongly recommended that Team Managers provide their cell phone number and email so that communications can be made

Team Information

Team area tents All teams can have a 4m x 4m tent at their disposal in the team area. A table and chairs are included. Depending on the number of riders registered per nation one or more tents can be allocated per country, this is something the Federation will decide upon request and availability. PLEASE NOTE: Tents are offered from the organization at no charge. Team Areas will be accessible from 14:00 Thursday 27th of May until Sunday 30th of May 19:00. The drop-off and the unloading of team equipment can only be done on Thursday 27th of May from 14:00 to 17:00. Equipment removal can be done on Sunday 30th of May until 19:00. Every tent must be cleared out by teams before 19:00.

A team of doctors and paramedics will be present throughout practice and racing. The team will be based on the track and also have use of a medical underneath the start ramp. The medical team will be available at all official track events.

6. COVID 19 Information COVID 19 Restrictions Currently in Colombia, we are regulated by the National Institute of Health and all local health regulatory centers (Ministry of Health - District Health Secretariat), so we need to apply all those protocols to prevent and manage the spread of SARS- CoV2. Regarding the arrival of athletes and staff to our country, it is necessary to have a Negative PCR test in the last 96 hours prior to boarding. In case of having a positive PCR it will be necessary to have a quarantine of 14 days, if the result is Negative it is not necessary to do any quarantine.

COVID test to Enter the Venue When first entering the venue, all people (Riders, Officials and staff) must present a negative PCR Test Result, taken within 72 hours of entering the Venue, if further tests are required, Antigen tests are aceptable.

COVID test site on track A test laboratory will be at the track from May 26th until May 30th, available to all athletes and staff. No bookings are required for tests, please arrive at the centre and the test will be taken. Antigen test cost is COP 70,000 – approx. USD 25. PCR test cost is COP 250,000 – approx. USD 80. All athletes have the right to be at the event with only one companion. COVID 19 Restrictions

The results of the antigen tests are given in 15 minutes and certified. The Colombian Cycling Federation verifies the negative result of the COVID 19 test, with a secure wristband that will be given by the laboratory to every person who is clear to access the venue and the event.

Any person who needs to be tested in order to fulfill the requirements of their final destination, can request a PCR or Antigen Test at the laboratory that will be offering those services at the track until 5 pm of May 30th
