AT&T AUDIENCE Network Set to Premiere Season Two of “Religion of Sports” Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT

Episode featuring FC Lampedusa, Hamburg, Germany’s International Refugee Soccer Team To Be Featured At Inaugural Tribeca TV Festival In New York City

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Following a successful debut season, AT&T*AUDIENCE® Network will kick off the second season of its original documentary series “Religion of Sports” Nov. 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Available exclusively on DIRECTV, DIRECTV NOW and AT&T U-Verse, Religion of Sports is executive produced by quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, along with award-winning filmmaker Gotham Chopra. Taking viewers around the world to examine untold stories of sport, each episode provides an in- depth look at stories celebrating the transcendent nature of sports that influence societies and cultures.

Season two kicks off with the fascinating story of soccer team FC Lampedusa, a team made up entirely of international refugees now residing in Hamburg, Germany’s St. Pauli district. The episode, which was selected to air at the Tribeca TV Festival, details the social responsibility the club feels for its city and members and bridges sports with an important, relevant social issue – immigration. The team and its fans regularly take their passion beyond the field with protests against social injustices to bring about societal changes.

In addition to the FC Lampedusa soccer team, season two of Religion of Sports details a variety of topics and stories on the profound impact sports has on societies around the globe including:

• Baseball at San Quentin – Follows the powerful journey of three inmates at San Quentin, each of who seeks hope and redemption by redefining their lives through the prison’s baseball program. • Rock Climbing – Features American rock climber and mountaineer Conrad Anker and his mentee, a cancer survivor named Alex Wildman, as they attempt to scale El Capitan in Yosemite, .

• Fencing – Profiles Peter Westbrook, an Olympic Medalist who went on to open the Peter Westbroook Foundation in Brooklyn, NY, to bring fencing to the inner city and underserved communities • RAAM Race Across America – Follows Bicyclist Sarah Cooper as she attempts to break a time record in completing RAAM’s Race Across America – a single-stage, ultra-cycling race beginning in Oceanside, California and ending in Annapolis, Maryland. • New Zealand – This episode delves into the history and customs of the Maori people of New Zealand and the cultural influence on the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team.
