Please note that due to partnership agreements, broadcast rights holders will receive priority when reviewing media requests. All interviews, whether by phone or in person, must be approved by the organization’s Director of Communications and Media Relations, Darren Cameron. The Club respectfully asks media to not contact players, coaches, management, or Board Members without prior consent. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers reserve the right to enforce the following guidelines by way of revoking credentials or limiting access to Investors Group Field. ATTENDING PRACTICE: Members of the media ACCESS TO HEAD COACH MIKE O’SHEA: will receive a weekly practice schedule with specific Head Coach Mike O’Shea will be available to the practice times. With the exception of camera media after practice each day in the Blue Bombers’ personnel, media are asked to observe practice Press Room.     BOB (BO) KEATING PLAYING HISTORY 1959-1961 Started playing football at Northwood Community Centre, in six man football programs which the parks and recreation department offered. Our coach was Tony Kohanski, this was a great exposure to organized football and Tony did a great job of making it fun. 1962-1966 Frank Bryan asked me to play high school football, for Sisler High School, while in grade eight. I played there for five years and had a great high school experience playing with and against many of the people who have become some of my best friends. I would like to thank Frank Bryan for getting me started. 1966 was my last year of high school football we won the championship in 64 and 65. One of the great things about playing high school football was I got to play a lot of positions guard, tackle, defensive line, and line backer. This aided me as a coach later on. 1967-1968 Played with the Weston Wildcats of the Manitoba Saskatchewan Junior Football League where I was able to play numerous positions; again I played centre, guard, tackle and defensive line depending on the situation. The coach was Hal Mauthe and Howie Goss (in those days you could get by with two coaches). 1969-1971 I had the great opportunity to play centre for the U of M Bisons, where we won the Vanier Cup two years in a row 1969 and 1970. In 1970 I was named a league all star. 1971 was another good year however we did not win the Vanier Cup.

Although the on-field success fell well short of our goals, we believe that we are taking steps in the right direction to quickly address this and we are therefore eager to move ahead with the 2016 season. General Manager Kyle Walters and his team worked hard to significantly boost the on-field talent on February 9th in Free Agency, adding key players such as running back Andrew Harris, kicker Justin Medlock, defensive tackle Keith Shologan, and receivers Ryan Smith and Weston Dressler. We are confident that all of these CFL stars will become fan favourites as Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
