Transfer to hotel . Day 3: Rome Empire Explore Rome after breakfast . Day 8: Naples – Pompeii ( 30 km) – Sorrento (30km) by coach After breakfast transfer to Po mpe ii , visit The Unesco World Heritage Site - Pompeii *, home of the ancient Roman ruins . See Vetti's House , the Thermal Baths , the Forum and the Lupanare brothel , all buried by volcanic ash , and learn more about how this ancient city was destroyed by the infamous Mt Vesuvius eruption in 79 AD. After getting a photo trying to 'hold up' the Leaning Tower , discover the rest of Piazza dei Miracoli and the incredible cathedral that sits on the square. Return to Florence in the later afternoon.
