Saudi Arabia signed the framework agreement of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) becoming the 73rd country to join the India-led renewable energy organisation which now has a total of 122 members.

The signing of the agreement took place after a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who arrive on a state visit to India on Tuesday night.

India said it will no longer allow its share of river waters to flow into Pakistan, signalling that it was taking a close look at punitive measures it can take as an upper riparian country following the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 soldiers were killed. Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has recently launched the first phase of the Rs 100-crore Sweet Revolution Scheme under which 1,207 farmers will be given Rs 1 lakh for bee keeping.

"1,207 farmers, after training, will be given Rs 1 lakh for bee keeping. Of the amount, Rs 80,000 is in the form of grant. Farmers can earn Rs 1.30 lakh every year by just investing Rs 20,000," Das said.

The Chief Minister announced that the Pradhanmantri Krishi Samman Yojna will be launched in Ranchi on February 24 under which Rs 2,000 will be deposited in the account of the farmers through direct transfer.

Embracing a more automated future for India, Kerala has now launched India’s first ever humanoid cop, becoming the first ever police department in the country to have a robot for police work.

The humanoid robot cop, also known as KP-Bot, was inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The robot was inducted by CM Vijayan with an honorary salute, and it responded back with a salute. It has been appointed to the rank of Sub Inspector.

KP-Bot has been deployed at the front office of the Kerala police Headquarters. Visitors will be greeted by the Robocop and it will even direct you where you want to go.

The park, which is called the 'Waste to Wonder Park', was built by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). It is open to all and we are more than happy that the park has been constructed within six months time and now it is a reality in Delhi. This is will also enhance the tourists economy," said Rajnath Singh.

"Since the seven replicas are made of 150 tonnes of scraps of automobile parts and other metal waste like fans, rods, iron sheets, nut- bolts, bicycle and bike parts and age-old appliances, this will give boost to Swach Bharat Mission led by the Prime Minister," said Singh.
