  • Please Pardon Our Mess – We're Under Construction
Please Pardon our Mess – We’re Under Construction Welcome to our construction issue. If you have traveled anywhere in Iowa this summer, you have likely come across road construction or building projects. If you have visited one of our campuses, you know that we are in the midst of updating our campus spaces as well. Iowa Valley Grinnell is getting an overall face-lift and an improved gunsmithing area. Our Ellsworth campus is updating several academic and athletic spaces and adding new living quarters. In Marshalltown, we are updating both interior and exterior spaces, rethinking how we serve our students and community members, and looking for ways that we can improve the services we provide with our campus spaces. The Continuing Education division may be getting one of the biggest facelifts – we are re-designing our conference center and surrounding spaces so we can best serve the community. Construction isn’t reserved for parking lots and physical structures – it’s a great metaphor for the work of improving ourselves, too. And we know that you are always working to improve, both professionally and personally! We also know you turn to Continuing Education for many reasons: you may want to take a class to earn your next promotion or to switch careers entirely; you may want to take a class for fun to connect with your friends and family; or you may simply want to take a class to explore a passion or discover a new one. We’re here for you during your personal construction season as you work on yourself.
