DH Chris Chinea countered in the bottom of the inning with a solo shot to get the Cardinals on the board, the first of his four hits on the night. Chinea struck again with an RBI double in the 4th, followed by a game-tying RBI sac fly from LF Juan Yepez to square the score at 3-3. LHP Evan Kruczynski kept the tie intact through the rest of his 6.2 innings, but the RockHounds reclaimed the lead in the 8th with a two-out RBI single by 1B Dan Gamache and hung on from there for the 4-3 win. Carlson named Player of the Year… OF Dylan Carlson has been named the 2019 Texas League Player of the Year, in addition to being selected as an exclusive Postseason All-Star. St. Louis’s #2 prospect and the #50 prospect in all of MiLB, Carlson is the ninth Cardinal to win the TL Player of the Year award in its 89-year history. If he makes his scheduled 20th start for Springfield on Sunday, Rondon has a chance to finish among some of the best single season pitching performers with at least 20 starts in team history, currently with the 3rd-best ERA (3.21), only behind Lance Lynn (2.92, 22 GS, 2009) and David Kopp (3.05, 21 GS, 2010). This transcript was exported on Mar 15, 2021 - view latest version here. Intro: This is Michael Cowen, and welcome to Trial Lawyer Nation. You've got to have the right case because if you take it up, and it's the wrong case, then you can make some really bad law that's going to affect a lot of plaintiffs- There's always an answer. The joy is in finding it- One of the reasons that I love being a lawyer is this exact process- The way we live our life has nothing to do with the presentation sequence at trial- As trial lawyers we pick up and move on and keep going- You're losing or gaining one out of every 10 jurors, which can really make a huge difference in the ultimate result of the case- Whatever you think about, you create- Learn all you can, and never stop. Then, have the guts to try case after case after case- Welcome to the award winning podcast, Trial Lawyer Nation, your source to win bigger verdicts, get more cases, and manage your law firm. Now, here's your host, noteworthy author, sought after speaker, and renown trial lawyer, Michael Cowen. Michael Cowen: Today on Trial Lawyer Nation, we have a great lawyer from Houston, Texas, Randy Sorrels. Randy, how are you doing today? Randy Sorrels: I'm doing terrific. Terrific. How about you? Michael Cowen: I'm going wonderful. Glad to be alive, and actually right now I'm glad to be vaccinated, which is a cool thing. I can start looking forward to having life again.

The NOCSAE® standard is aimed at reducing the risk of skull fractures. The standard has not been correlated with reducing the risk of concussions from such impacts. NOCSAE® standards require that a batting helmet withstand all test impacts at an established peak severity index (SI). Helmets also must survive all test protocols substantially intact and ready for use. NOCSAE® baseball batting helmet standards involve tests of baseballs fired from a cannon at 60 mph at a distance of 2 ft, which is roughly equivalent to an impact resulting from a pitch speed of 68 mph at a distance of 60 ft.
