NL - Het Intra Muros Festival for Early Music vindt jaarlijks plaats binnen de muren van de Landcommanderij Alden Biesen. Centraal gelegen in de Euregio, tussen steden als Tongeren, Luik, Hasselt, Maastricht en Aken, is de 800 jaar oude site van kasteel Alden Biesen - met nu hoofdzakelijk 18de eeuwse gebouwen - het perfecte decor voor een festival met muziek van de Middeleeuwen tot de Franse revolutie. Architectuur, cultuur, natuur en gastronomie zijn dan ook dé troeven voor een geslaagde festivalbeleving tijdens een één- of meerdaags verblijf in het Toscane van het noorden.

Centrally located in the Euregio, between cities as Tongeren, Liège, Hasselt, Maastricht and Aachen, the 800-year-old site of Alden Biesen Castle - with now mainly 18th century buildings - is the perfect setting for a festival with music from the Middle Ages up to the French revolution. Architecture, culture, nature and gastronomy are therefore the assets for a successful festival experience during a one or more day stay in the Tuscany of the north.
