DEMOGRAPHICS

The above map shows the population of children and young people within the Northern Outcomes Area aged 0 -17 at Census 2011. Mallusk has the highest number with 2,285 and the highest five areas are highlighted in the data table and geographically on the map. Overall there are approximately 109,320 children and young people living in the Northern Outcomes area. Figures below show the highest 5 in each LGD. 4

When we look at the rate of children aged between 0 – 15 years who are in receipt of DLA Milebush has the highest rate of 96.2 which would equate to 9% of the 0-15 population. Ballyloran has consistently had the highest rate over the last 7 years peaking at 96.8 in 2010.
