TSA Vice President Julie Robinson EVSC School Board Candidate Amy Speaks to EVSC School Board Word Attacked on Social Media for Supporting the LGBTQIA Communities “1st- I am pleased that EVSC by law can no longer discriminate against its employees of their gender identity. This is not because of an update by the EVSC Board of their employment policy, but instead because of a US Supreme Court decision. Which, from your boards' prior publicly video docu- mented comments, you expected to lose. I encourage you to take needed actions to protect transgender students at EVSC. This will help prevent MORE lawsuits…lawsuits that EVSC will continue to lose & cost the schools money that SHOULD be spent on teacher salaries & teaching kids. I would like to also talk about the practice of the EVSC School Board paying school employees to publicly attack critics of the EVSC School Board. We have seen the EVSC attorney publicly attack EVSC school board critics more than once, & the EVSC attorney was even paid to do research, to which he did very poorly, pulling out a legal pad to find in his notes a bizarre false statement of "transgender individuals take exactly 7 years to transition" in some ridiculous attempt to devalue protecting LGBTQIA+ students. We have witnessed the EVSC spokesperson be paid to criticize & make false statements against a lo- cal attorney who is a critic of this school board. Your attorney attempted to 100% gaslight public comments about a preventable horrific student tragedy. If you doubt these statements, please note we have put these statements on YouTube. Taxpayers want the EVSC School Board to be good stewards of the public money. Currently you are not protecting ALL of your students which makes you prone to lawsuits, you are doing your very best to find any legal loophole to silence public comments on paid public officials, & you are instructing paid EVSC employees to make political attacks against your critics. We need the EVSC school board to be better stewards of our public funds. Currently that is not what we are getting. We the taxpayers deserve better. We need you to do the right thing." -speech from Tri-State Alliance's Julie Robinson on the EVSC board & board admin practices during last Monday's budget meeting public comment time. #goodtrouble #evsc #protecttranskids #evv #evansilleindiana At EVSC (Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation
