Anglican Schools Commission of the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn 12 Public Issues Commission 12 The past eighteen months have been a significant time of transition and change for the Diocese. In 2018 the Diocese farewelled Bishop Stuart and Mrs Jane Robinson after a decade of faithful CHAPTER 4: Pastoral Care & Oversight 13 Christ-honouring service. During the year the Diocese met in Synod on three occasions – Bishop’s Ministry, Leadership and Pastrol Care 13 once in ordinary session, once to consider matters arising from the Royal Commission into Bishop’s Office Personnel 14 Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and once to elect a new Diocesan Bishop. General Manager/Executive 14 Throughout this period, capable and patient leadership was exercised by the Diocesan Anglican Diocesan Services 14 Administrator Bishop Trevor Edwards in partnership with the Bishop-in-Council and other Diocesan Legal Committee 14 bodies and agencies. -
