The SCCF now has over $15 million in assets and over 150 funds. (Dick Knope) 5535 S 600 W, North Judson The statistic we’re most proud of, however, is that our donors have made it possible for the SCCF to give more than $8 million in grants and scholarships over the past two 574-896-3509 Cell: 574-249-0203 and a half decades. The SCCF has also taken on a more active leadership role by participating in commu- st nity initiatives and helping to facilitate collaboration to make Starke County a better Will Be OPEN April 21 place to call home. In addition to what’s mentioned above, the SCCF has helped local non-profits collaborate and improve their services by facilitating Food Pantry Summits and Transportation Summits, and by gathering Starke County service providers for regular Partnership Luncheons. Perhaps one of the most significant examples of the SCCF taking an active leadership role in addressing community needs is their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The SCCF provided more than $125,000 for Starke County’s food delivery service, as well as for rent/mortgage assistance, utility assistance, and to help local residents facing food inse- Linda’s Tax Service curity. In recent history, the SCCF has accomplished some amazing things, and its role in the community has become more 574-896-4090 and more proactive, thanks to our valued partnerships with our donors and local non-profits.
