Job Outline

The Master’s program qualifies students for all occupations in which complex issues are independently and analytically addressed and in-depth, regionally specific knowledge and skills regarding Southeast Asia are required. Field of compe- tence can be in business, management and politics; for ex- ample in research and evaluation departments of educational institutions, in media, cultural institutions and associations. Special knowledge in Southeast Asian languages also enab- les graduates to work in international companies, in the area of tourism and development aid. The Master’s program also opens up access to doctoral studies and the possibility of a scientific career.
