On , the Government of released information on booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

You are receiving this letter because you have been identified by your health care team to receive a prioritized booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine due to meeting the specified criteria. The criteria for Phase One of booster dose administration in Saskatchewan, includes transplants recipients (including solid organ transplant and hematopoietic stem cell transplants); recipients of stable, active treatment (chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy) for malignant hematologic disorders; and recipients of an anti-CD20 agent (e.g. rituximab, ocrelizumab, ofatumumab). As of , you will be eligible to book your booster dose vaccine appointment; please refer to the following instructions:

1. Attend an SHA clinic. To find out where and when these clinics are go to SHA COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics. 2. Book an appointment at a participating pharmacy. 3. Please ensure that you are receiving the same vaccine brand as your first or second dose. If you received a mixed vaccine schedule for first and second doses, either mRNA product is available, safe and effective to receive for your third dose. If you have a contraindication to mRNA vaccines, you may receive AstraZeneca for your booster. To access the option for AstraZeneca, contact your local public health office. a. Refer to the wallet card supplied to you after your first or second dose or check your Immunization History on your MySaskHealthRecord account. In addition, the booking agent or pharmacy will be able to assist with details regarding your previous COVID-19 immunizations. 4. You MUST bring this letter with you to your vaccination appointment. You will not receive a booster dose without this letter as proof of your eligibility.

If you are unable to book your COVID-19 booster vaccination at this time, please note that you are welcome and eligible to book at any time in the future.
