ON FEBRUARY 2ND, OUR PARENT ENGAGEMENT PROJECT TOOK PLACE AT THE JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE OF METROWEST CHILDREN’S CLOTHING CLOSET.

A wonderful and non profit organization, JFS Clothing Closet provides high quality, new and gently used clothing to school age children in need — and all for free. Families can shop at local Pop Up Stores or JFS provides “Ready to Wear” bags containing specific and requested items.

At the JFS Clothing Closet, some of us helped to prepare for the Pop Up Store that was happening the next day at Wilson Elementary while others of us went through boxes of brand new clothing given by a national company called Delivering Good, getting it ready for donation.

Thank you to all who came out and joined us for this event. If you are looking to get involved, stay tuned for the next project taking place on May 3rd. The parent engagement projects are mitzvah related, fun and designed to create community amongst our religious school parents and anyone interested in joining us. Our last project for this year will take place at TBA and the theme is Beatification Day! tebeam / March 2020 / 8
