Looking for some new entertainment? Check out the latest episode of “Entertainment Blvd. at Home”

TOWSON, MD. – The second episode of “Entertainment Blvd. at Home,” is available online and on BCPS-TV (Comcast channel 73 and Verizon channel 34) and features both engaging student performances and artwork by a BCPS teacher.

“We are so proud of this show,” said Eric Dodson, manager of BCPS-TV. “The original Entertainment Blvd. show was created four years ago by some of our student interns. For many of the students who appeared on the show, it was their first opportunity to visit a television studio, see what goes on behind the scenes, and see themselves on television. The new ‘at home edition’ of the show is yet another way for the BCPS community to stay connected during this challenging time.”

This episode, hosted by Kalia J. Green, a paraeducator at Dundalk High School, features, in order of appearance:

Alice Li, Grade 8, Ridgely Middle School, harpist

Jessica Powell, visual arts educator, Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts

Franklin High School Guitar Quartet Members: seniors Samuel Canapp, Caleb Grove, and Josh Stewart and junior Braden White

Perry Hall High School Dance Company Members: Jenlean Carrasquillo, Kamryn Evans, Nikylah Jones, Tyler Major, Sharia McBride, Monae Sedgwick, Tabitha Tamulevich, and Laila Thomas Teacher/director: Sarah Soule

Video submissions for future episodes of “Entertainment Blvd. at Home” can be recorded on phones (held horizontally) or using a digital video camera. The producers at BCPS-TV advise students/parents to hold the camera or phone as steadily as possible. The videos should be between one to five minutes long, and all material presented should be family-friendly (appropriate for an audience of all ages). Not all submitted videos will be aired, and those that are selected might be edited for length and content.

Students must include background information either at the very beginning or end of their videos. This information, which can also be submitted in a Word document, should include full name and email address (and how to spell them), title of performance, grade level, and school name.
