Chromatherapy, the healing power of color: Chromatherapy is a method of harmonizing and assisting in the healing of certain disorders, physical or emotional, through the use of colors. The assumption is based on the sensory organs. According to this discipline, the colors would have a direct influence on the mind and body. The chromotherapy is a mixture of psychology, art, physics and medicine. Chromotherapy is not scientifically recognized or validated by the Medical Academy. This is an alternative medicine that can only be used as a complement instead of allopathic medicine. The principle of Chromotherapy: Just like the musical instrument, which must have all its strings adapted to the right tonality, so that the sound that comes out is harmonious, the chromotherapy is supposed to make us enjoy all the basic spectrum of colors. To excess: It causes nervousness and agitation. • Blue: refreshing, relaxing, it is indicated for insomnia, psychic fatigue and stress, palpitations, high blood pressure, acute pain, fever, elimination of cell residues, it is also antiseptic. Blue awakens intuition and talent when combined with green. To excess: melancholy and meditation. • Green: a clever blend of lucid yellow and soothing blue, the green brings a calm atmosphere, it is reconstituted, soft and fresh, ideal for recuperating from physical or mental fatigue. It stimulates the growth and regeneration of cells. The green is tonic and rebalances the nervous and circulatory systems. Composed of yellow, it also stimulates discernment and the desire to share it with others, and finally it facilitates concentration. • Violet: it calms and strengthens the nervous system, increasing the performance of mental activity. It is advisable for certain psychic disorders, anxieties and fears in general and loss of memory. It helps with the detoxification of the blood and the problems of rheumatism related to moisture.
