THE CHURCH IS A GARDEN OF MANY COLORS Francis has said, “We need unity in the midst of diversity.” Using his own paintings and the stories which inspired them, Bro. Mickey will help us celebrate these words and the colorful and cultural diversity of the church. In word and image, we will look at from across church history- from Mary of the Magnificat through St. John XXIII and Sr. Thea Bowman- each of whom shows us how beauty heals divisions and brings our hearts closer to God. On day two we will take a look at Laudato Si and its lessons on caring for creation here on earth and our ever- expanding universe.

Presenter: Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS, an Oblate of St. , is an award- winning artist, author, and storyteller.
