Sunday’s Bulletin was sponsored by Eddie and Cindy Carlton in celebration of their birthdays: Eddie’s was yesterday and Cindy’s is tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Elijah! Elijah will be 5 years old this Friday. Please join us at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall for special human goodies to celebrate with him. Also, please stop and greet him in the Narthex before or after each service. Elijah was born on March 26, 2016 in Minnesota and assigned to ORLC on August 27, 2017 when he was 17-months old. He is the first LCC Comfort Dog to be triple vested, which means that in addition to his regular service vest, he is also Military and Police Service vested. Immediately upon arriving here, he was deployed to Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. He has also been deployed to Sutherland Springs, White Settlement, Midland/Odessa, Santa Fe High School, and El Paso. In addition, he’s attended a Special Olympic Event and Fantasy Flight for special needs and abused children. Here at home, he and his handlers minister at rehab and long-term care facilities, hospitals, dialysis centers, service organizations, Hospice, Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls Police Department, fire departments, and more.

LIFEDATE SPRING 2021 – “WE ALL BELONG” The new edition of the quarterly newsletter from Lutherans for Life is now available online. It reminds us that we all belong, first and foremost, to God. But we also belong to each other, and as those connected through the body of Christ, we are not alone. We are, in fact, necessary to each other as we serve through our vocations. https://lutheransforlife.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/LifeDate_Spring_2021_website.pdf

Texas Ramp Project Our mission is to build wheelchair ramps for disabled or elderly people who can’t afford to buy one. In a few hours on a Saturday morning, we give these folks the freedom to leave their home again—the home where they want to live but whose steps have imprisoned them. Volunteers are needed on April 10th to build a ramp. We’ll meet at the project site at 10:00am. Contact Steven Ulrick if interested, so contact can be made in case of weather or any other reason the project must be rescheduled.

We received the following note this week from University Lutheran Church, Austin, TX: Dear Saints at Our Redeemer, Wow! Thank you so much for the gift to support University Lutheran Church at UT Austin. What a great blessing to us! It’s especially a blessing in these Covid times, as ULC has been a true sanctuary for our American students. It’s one of few places they can safely be with other students, as we gather in-person for Worship. Growing in their faith has been vital to surviving the pandemic! And our inter-national students benefit greatly from our many zoom classes for English and Bible. Your gift not only supports the ministry, but two missionaries!! Thank you for making this mission happen!! We deeply appreciate it!! -- Pastor Richard and Marcia Mittwede
