Thought, the M.C.C. food pantry, and what the college is doing to combat food insecurity.

October is also the month for Breast Cancer Awareness. Specifically, 19 October 2018 is Wear Pink Day, so please try to remember to wear pink on that day to honor women who have been affected by breast cancer. Finally, I wanted to thank everyone who brought donations for the Hopkins County Humane Society to our last meeting. They were very appreciative of our efforts, and while I was there, I got to see a dog getting ready to go to his new FURever Home.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the 2nd. With luck, we will have cooler weather by then!

-Mary
