Travel Advisory & Security Procedures: Travelers to the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and associated events who have had a medical procedure involving radioactive materials within 30 days of the tour date will need to bring documentation of that procedure in order to attend the events. Lawn chairs can be brought with you for the Induction Ceremony and left at Induction site upon arrival. Please label your chair. You may also want to bring binoculars. This is a Walking Tour. Depart: Bethlehem, PA - LVIP, 2012 Industrial Drive 5:30am Allentown, PA - Green Hills, 5925 Tilghman Street 5:50am Trans-Bridge Tours parking lot behind Pizza Shop Arrive: Cooperstown , NY 10:00am Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum 10:00am - 5:00pm Induction Ceremony 1:00pm Depart: Cooperstown, NY 5:00pm Fast-food stop on way home Approximate Return: Lehigh Valley Area 10:00pm The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a place to honor the game. With over 35,000 three- dimensional artifacts in the Hall of Fame's collection, each visitor can get a glimpse of what makes baseball special to them. The Museum details the history of America's pastime. It is recommended visitors start on the second floor. First Floor Exhibits: Halper Gallery, Art of Baseball, Inductee Row, Hall of Fame Gallery, Baseball at the Movies, Scribes and Mikemen, Bullpen Theater and Sandlot Kids' Clubhouse. Second Floor Exhibits: Cooperstown Room, The Baseball Experience, Taking the Field: The 19th Century, 20th Century Baseball Time Line, Babe Ruth Room, Diamond Dreams: Women in Baseball, Pride and Passion: The African-American Baseball Experience, ¡Viva Baseball! and Today's Game. Third Floor Exhibits: Sacred Ground, Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream, the Records Room, Autumn Glory: Postseason Celebration, Education Gallery and Baseball Cards. Tips for Enjoying Your Hall of Fame Visit: Please allow ample time to enjoy the Museum. Cameras are encouraged! Museum is wheelchair accessible and a limited number of wheelchairs available on first-come, first-serve basis. No food or drink is permitted in the Museum. After entering the Baseball Hall of Fame, people should have their hand stamped so they can reenter if they leave. Close by to the Hall of Fame are shops and eating facilities. The Induction Ceremony is held at the Clark Sports Center (outdoor area) on Susquehanna Ave just one mile south of the Hall of Fame. The time of the ceremony is usually around 1pm but time may change. The Old/Former inductees who are present are usually introduced first before the new inductees. There is no fee for the induction ceremony. There is a shuttle that operates between the Hall of Fame and the Induction ceremony but it is crowded.
