(D) – Dinner October 12 – Colorado National Monument / Durango, CO ACCOMMODATIONS Our exciting day begins with a scenic drive through the – Comfort Suites, Dillon, CO Rockies past some of Colorado’s renowned skiing areas Night One – Hampton Inn, Durango, CO as we continue west. Early this afternoon is spent on Nights Two & Three – Pagosa Inn & Suites, Pagosa Springs, CO the 23-mile-long Rim Rock Drive at Colorado National Night Four – Drury Inn & Suites, Colorado Springs, CO Monument. This splendid park gives testimony to the Night Five amazing results of erosion. Here we see rounded domes and Departs: First Lutheran Church, 3200 Military Ave, towering monoliths surrounded by vertical walls and Fremont, NE 68025 is unquestionably among the premier scenic drives in the American West! October 13 – Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad A truly unforgettable experience awaits this morning as we board the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Step back in time on this coal-fired, steam-powered narrow gauge train to the historic mining town of Silverton and back. Savor this 3 ½ hour journey each way through the rugged wilderness and aspen trees with 2 hours in Silverton for lunch, shopping and exploring. Then, back in Durango, spend the evening at your leisure in the downtown area. (B)

October 14 – Mesa Verde National Park Today we enjoy Mesa Verde National Park, the land of the ancient Indians. Our very own step-on guide will take us around the park, winding past archaeological sites and overlooks. After your tour, enjoy lunch at Far View Café inside the park before leaving the park. This evening finds us in Pagosa Springs with an evening meal at a local favorite restaurant. (B, L, D)

Colorado Aspen Rail Spectacular Rail Aspen Colorado October 15 – Garden of the Gods / Colorado Springs, CO Continue through southern Colorado today to Colorado Springs. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a step-on guided tour through the Garden of the Gods, with its dramatic views, 300 foot towering sandstone rock formations and brilliant blue skies. We spend the night at the Drury Inn & Suites, where you’ll also get the chance to relax and enjoy Drury’s great “Kickback” – where complimentary food and drinks are available. (B, D)
