The Falcon women are coming off arguably their best win of the season taking down the by 11 points. It was an impressive team victory with having her best game of the season on both ends of the floor. Today the Falcons take on another powerhouse and finals bound team in the Knox Raiders. The Raiders are well led today by Marena Whittle, Rebecca Ott and Bree Whatman. The Raiders have been flying in season 2019 and are looking at todays game to lock away a top four spot and fine tune for the playoffs. Today will be another big test for our Falcons as they hope to continue their good form over the past month.

The Falcon men are coming off their second loss in a row going down by 13 to the Dandenong Rangers last week. The Falcons just cannot afford to keep giving up big leads as they did again last week being down 18 in the 3rd quarter. The Raiders host one of the stronger starting groups in the NBL1 with plenty of perimeter shooting and a very good defensive unit. The Falcons will need to be at their best as they back up from a trip to Ballarat on Saturday night. It’s a very important game for both groups hoping to keep their playoff hopes alive.
