Note: 430 of 562 applicants (76.5%, 8-year average) from the 2001-2008 graduation classes were accepted to 77 of the 129 US and one Caribbean allopathic medical schools and to 7 of the 28 osteopathic medical schools. The four medical schools matriculated 180 (42.9% of matriculated students) as follows: School of Medicine - 9; The Brody School of Medicine of - 16; University of North Carolina School of Medicine - 37; Wake Forest University School of Medicine - 118.
