The achievements of the players ignite national pride, and we wish them every success in their continued pursuit of sporting excellence,” said Mr Loh Chin Hua, CEO of Keppel Corporation. “This is the sixth edition of our awards ceremony, an annual celebration of our sporting achievements made by our athletes and coaches. We are grateful to Keppel Corporation for being our major sponsor of all the cash awards since 2013. World Ranking Competition-Event List – List No. 2014_01 WORLD RANKINGS 2014 No. 01 03 January 2014 • Bonus Points are awarded to the final positions in Singles events of Olympic Games, World and Continental Championships, ITTF Pro-Tour and some other individual events. These Bonus Points remain valid for a period of 12 months. • Players’ positions on the previous ranking list are shown in ( ) in column 2. (<<) = no change in position from the previous ranking list. (unr) = did not appear on the previous ranking list. • Players become part of the Initial Rating process if they do not already have their “f” final Starting Points AND they have a change to their results. This change can be due to new results being added, dropped (no longer part of the current 4-year cycle), or modified to correct any error discovered. Players are marked as follows: “n” newly ranked; “i” Starting Points are the calculated Initial Points; “c” Starting Points are capped to the player’s 2BW (2nd Best Win); “f” in the first list where their Starting Points have become final, having attained 5 Significant Wins and 5 Significant Losses. • Only players who have had results in the past 12 months are ranked. Players marked * have had no results entered for 6 months. These players may re-enter the lists if a result is entered for them in the future. Players who have no results entered for more than 4 years are treated as new players. • In the events lists: Type: Shows if an individual competition was played in Groups (GR), a K-O system (KO), or if it was a team event (TM). -

27 February 2019 MEDIA RELEASE STTA Annual Awards Night, 9th Edition: Celebrating Table Tennis Achievements of 2018 The Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA) celebrated the sporting excellence of outstanding athletes and coaches who have made contributions to Singapore table tennis at the STTA Annual Awards Night tonight at Jubilee Restaurant @ SAFRA Toa Payoh. Mr Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry & Ministry of Education was the Guest of Honour. This year, 7 STTA Awards were conferred to athletes and coaches with standout performances: Special Awards (2 awards) The Most Improved Zone Training Centre Award 2018 Outstanding Zone Training Centre Award 2018 STTA Hopes Player of the Year 2018 STTA Youth Player of the Year 2018 STTA Player of the Year 2018 (Refer to Appendix A for details on the STTA Awards and award recipients) Ellen Lee Geck Hoon, JP, PBM, President, STTA said, “The STTA awards are to recognize the contributions and achievements of our athletes and coaches. The most improved zone training centre and outstanding zone training centre awards are to recognize our coaches for their efforts in grooming our young talents in their early years. In recent years, we have athletes as young as 12 years old making their mark in the international circuit.
