PT | O.co Coliseum OAKLAND RAIDERS (2-12) vs. BUFFALO BILLS (8-6) GAME PREVIEW THE SETTING The Oakland Raiders return to Oakland for their final home game Date: Sunday, December 21 on the 2014 season, a match-up with the Buffalo Bills at O.co Coliseum Kickoff: 1:25 p.m. PT on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 1:25 p.m. PT. Sunday’s contest will be the 37th Site: O.co Coliseum (1966) regular season meeting between the original AFL franchises since their Capacity/surface: 56,057/Overseeded Bermuda inception in 1960. This will be the first meeting between the two squads Regular Season: Raiders lead, 19-17 since a wild game in Buffalo in 2011, and the first contest in Oakland Postseason: Bills lead, 2-0 since 2005. Dating back to 1999, the Raiders are 4-2 against the Bills, though Buffalo has won the last two contests. Oakland is riding a two- game home winning streak, having beaten the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 20 and the San Francisco 49ers on Dec. 7. Last week, the Raiders fell on the road against their AFC West division rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, by a score of 13-31, and the Bills beat the Green Bay Packers in Buffalo, 21-13. The Raiders fell to the Chiefs last week at Arrowhead Stadium. RB Latavius Murray paced the offensive attack with 59 rushing yards on 12 carries (4.9 avg.). QB Derek Carr threw for 222 yards and one touch- down. WR James Jones was Carr’s favorite target on the afternoon, catching eight passes for 57 yards and his fifth touchdown of the year. Defensively, S Brandian Ross posted a forced fumble that DL C.J.     Big 12 Conference Schools Raise Nine-Year NFL Draft Totals to 277 Alumni Through 2003 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Apr. 26, 2003 DALLAS—Big 12 Conference teams had 10 of the first 62 selections in the 35th annual NFL “common” draft (67th overall) Saturday and added a total of 13 for the opening day. The first-day tallies in the 2003 NFL draft brought the number Big 12 standouts taken from 1995-03 to 277. Over 90 Big 12 alumni signed free agent contracts after the 2000-02 drafts, and three of the first 13 standouts (six total in the first round) in the 2003 draft were Kansas State CB Terence Newman (fifth draftee), Oklahoma State DE Kevin Williams (ninth) Texas A&M DT Ty Warren (13th). Last year three Big 12 standouts were selected in the top eight choices (four of the initial 21), and the 2000 draft included three alumni from this conference in the first 20. Colorado, Nebraska and Florida State paced all schools nationally in the 1995-97 era with 21 NFL draft choices apiece. Eleven Big 12 schools also had at least one youngster chosen in the eight-round draft during 1998. Over the last six (1998-03) NFL postings, there were 73 Big 12 Conference selections among the Top 100. There were 217 Big 12 schools’ grid representatives on 2002 NFL opening day rosters from all 12 members after 297 standouts from league members in ’02 entered NFL training camps—both all-time highs for the league. Nebraska (35 alumni) was third among all Division I-A schools in 2002 opening day roster men in the highest professional football configuration while Texas A&M (30) was among the Top Six in total NFL alumni last autumn.
