Conservatory Overview Sample Curriculum The Integrated Arts Conservatory offers a diverse, challenging, and high-caliber Acting program where students are exposed to a wide range of artistic disciplines, Arts Advocacy & Community Outreach including visual arts, voice, drama, creative writing, film, dance, production and Broadcast Journalism design, and more. The conservatory is designed to provide students with the Creative Writing opportunity to explore and actively participate in a variety of performing and visual Dance (Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre) arts classes in a stimulating and creative environment. Integrated Arts students Digital Photography expand their perspectives, experiencing many aspects of the arts and cultivating a Musical Theatre Lab deeper appreciation for the craft, theories, and history of the arts. Students who Plays & Playwrights graduate from the Integrated Arts Conservatory have an outstanding foundation in Pop & Jazz Vocal the arts and an excellent body of knowledge, cultivating a strong sense of Production & Design confidence as they pursue a higher education or the profession of their choice. Main Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701 | 714.560.0900 Performance Opportunities Each year, the Integrated Arts Conservatory offers various major performance opportunities, including two musicals (one for grades 7-8 and another for grades 9-12), a spring showcase variety show, and a series of one acts and scenes for middle school and high school students. Integrated Arts students also have the opportunity to participate in OCSA’s Season Finale, a schoolwide performance presented at the prestigious Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

Unique Experiences The Integrated Arts Conservatory provides its students with the unique opportunity to participate in “Studio Friday” workshops with esteemed guest artists and master teachers. Ms. Charna Lopez was born and raised in Southern and attended Chapman University, where she graduated magna cum laude and received her Bachelor of Fine Art in film and television broadcast journalism. She went on to earn her master’s degree in cross cultural education from National University. A dedicated member of the Orange County School of the Arts team since 2006, Ms. Lopez has focused much of her professional career on the arts and enjoys sharing her passion with the next generation of artists.

She is also an award-winning performing artist who has appeared throughout Southern California at theatres including Moonlight Amphitheater, Performance Riverside, Candlelight Pavilion, and Saddleback Civic Light Opera. Among her favorite roles are the title role in Peter Pan, Rizzo in Grease, The Witch in Into The Woods, DeLee in Smokey Joe's Café (Theater League Award, Patte Award nomination), The Waitress in Working, Joan in Dames at Sea, and Patsy in Crazy For You.
